Adding Players

Post by nuggett »

I have had a career started for a number of years and do not want to start again. Howvere, since I am a number of years in players such as Taylor Hall, Seguin, etc are not in my system.

Is there any way to either:

1. Edit the current DB to change players names or

2. Add new players to the DB.

Thanks.

as far as i know, it is not possible to do so.u would either need to download a roster update and start over,or just live without those guys.......part of playing a sports sim that goes 100 years from now.the only other thing i can think of would be if those guys actually exist in the game at all......not sure whether they do in the version that your playing, but if they do,and are not that good, u could sign them all, trade them to the teams they belong to,and then edit them in the saved game editor to be more the their real life counterparts.

You can't create players using the Saved game editor. You can only with Pre-Game editor -> therefore you will have to start new game.
But I think you can use one of existing players and modify him to behave similar to the player you want to create. Maybe this can work :dunno:

Thanks. I thought that was the case.

Would be great to add players, but all I was hoping to do was change the name. Guess this can not be done either.
