Samsonov we will have revenge!!! How could he do that, I'm still wondering why he even signed with Montreal of all teams. But to score 2 goals on his former team, and Montreals biggest rival is unforgivable!! VENGEANCE!

I watched the Pens shellack the Flyers tonight on TSN. Crosby was awesome tonight...6 points tonight and he pretty much had his way with the ultra slow Flyers defense. Nice goal by Staal at the end of the game. I feel bad for Philly - a slow defense and a slew of injuries have really hurt them this year. How the mighty have fallen is all I have to say

Flames at Canucks tomorrow night should be a great game as usual :)

Man that Calgary v San Jose tilt was some of the best hockey I've seen all year; it was also the perfect exmaple of how a game can be both very fast paced with a lot of up and down rushes and yet still have a ton of physical action. See Gary? You can have speed and your beloved "excitement" and still allow players to hit each other. It alos goes to show that the schedule should definitely be shorted becuase both of these teams were fresh not on their 5th game in 7 nights and it made a huge difference.

And only 5 total powerplays the whole game, although all those powerplays went to the Sharks.

The only problem with this game was the diving the Sharks players did when they got touched. I thought they were going to crack down on diving this year, but I guess players with a "tough" reputation (Joe Thornton dive) are exempt from that rule. The same goes with when Ryan Smyth took a MASSIVE dive against Calgary the last time they played, resulting in a 5-on-3 goal for the Oilers.

Says the Calgary fan... no offense Krieger but you might be a little biased on that one just becuase the calls didn't go your way. I'm sorry your team lost and that ruined your enjoyment of watching what was a great hockey game. :-(

It was a great game, but I'm getting frustrated with how players are getting away with diving. Although it certainly wasn't as obvious as the Huselius dive (I think it was against Anaheim), it was still a dive.

Wow, the Sabres scored 6 goals in the frst like 10:50 or something of their game tonight which is the 3rd most in that amount of time ever... and the first time it's been done in 55 years. Talk about high octane!

Amazing comeback by the real life Bluejax tonight... sorry to all of our many Bruins fans; that's a brutal way to lose a game, and before that Thomas was just playing out of his head. If it wasn't for him they'd have been down by three or four easily. the turnaround was Vyborny's first goal (I think it was him...) he had it forehand with Thomas scrambling back into postion. Vyb was about 8 feet from the net an faked the wrister then spun around and roofed it on the backhand... it was craaaaazzzyy!! :-o

Wirtz drank himself to bed happy again tonight as the Hawks close in on the Holy Grail of Blackhawks teams, the sweet sweet playoff bonus money!!!

Ya, but the call of Chara with 30 seconds left is what killed us, I can't believe the Refs actually listened to Nash and called the penalty because he had his hands up complaining, they already had a 6 on 4, the refs just had to make it a 6 on 3 eh? Then, the pucks not even out of the zone and they did a line change, WHY?! It could've been an easy 4 on 0 literally.

The refs had nothing to do with Boston spacing on their line change. :dunno:

No I was complaining about the Refs, when they gave Nash the call when he asked for it when it was already a 6 on 4 with around 35 seconds left. I just don't get why they would actually decide to make the call for a 6 on 3...

I know the line change thing was 100% Boston stupidity, which never should happen at an NHL level game.

Wow. Crazy game in Calgary tonight. Huselius got TWO empty net goals. Talk about padding your stats. ;)

Did anyone catch Rod Brind'amour night yesterday in the Canes vs Ducks game?

Awesome pre-game presentation to honor his achievements of 600 assists and 1000 points in the NHL.

Then we went on the beat the best team in the NHL 4-2... although they had neither Bryzgalov or Giguire....

Especially since Bondra is 102 years old  And this was a game I'd actually have tuned in for, but ya know being in Chicago there are no tv broadcasts of home games since the owner of the team holds the rights and doesn't allow people in Chicago's viewing area to see them "To protect the value of the season ticket holder's investments" so they also get blacked out on CenterIce

inStaaled I'd have loved to have seen Brindy night, he's as you know one of my hockey heros

A big ole helping of Murphy's Law 8-) Since after his 17 points so far on the year I decided to deal him in the TBL fantasy league and in our league trades process instantly pending approval so once you agree a player is traded he is. This was Shane's first gameday NOT on my team  ](*,)

Some really wild games last night actually, the Sedins were pretty sick in the Canucks game last night.

Bad reffing? Nope. I hate the Leafs more than anyone in the world. The reason the Leafs won--They played about 1.2 million times better than the Bruins. That may be the worst I have seen a Bruins team play...and that is saying alot, because they have played alot of naff games over the years.

Question though...how can it be that when a team gets two, almost two minute man advantages in a game blame a referee? Sorry BBFan, but come on...the Leafs played well, and the Bruins did not rise to the occasion AT ALL.

Now I must go wash my mouth and hands and face and a zillion other things. I actually gave the Leafs credit for something. Ick...I feel dirty.

I've seen a lot of stupid things in my life, but that crosscheck to the face that Orr gave Ovechkin has gotta rank up there with the stupidest. You better belive every single player on the Caps is gonna be plowing him face first into the boards next game. Then let Brashear bite his ear off, or whatever counts as a tough guy act these days.

I meant there was bad reffing on both sides, I know the Leafs played better, but the goal when Thomas got an elbow to the head? Or when Chara got cross checked from behind, which lead to a goal? I'm just saying it was rediculous they let them play then called bad calls, yes I might be a little biased.
