Yeah Minty, and that's why i'm looking forward to become a Popo VIP
When i have the motivation, i search store by store to see which one have the cheapest article i want And when i'm lazy i ask you if you can find it for me But now, becoming VIP stands the best option
I noticed that one of the Never Dies members (i won't tell the name) left the jam studio before the end of the jam session...
It seems that he went to a gym club, while i thought he should be 'locked' to the studio while he's jamming! Should it be a bug? Or a mistake from the guy that controls this character?
No, this is just one of those things... Cy (Calv's character) has a bit of a history of meanding off during jams on occasion Jams are four hours and yes, you can leave the area of the jam and if you don't return it hurts the quality of your session.
So, people should always make sure they stay until they get the message in their diary that says 'Completed jam session.' You should also set yourself to 'Chaste' while jamming if you want to be 100% safe since occasionally there is a bug where if people quickie you during a jam you get stuck at the Don't Tell Motel instead of automatically returning to the jam session! So don't do those interactions when someone is at a jam place.
It seems that FM Jams jamming studio is at 450$ instead of the 475$ you annouced I booked us there
Not related, but is it possible to change the language you're playing with? I started to play Popo in french, but now i'd like to switch it to english as i have some difficulties to indicate where to find things to people, as i don't have the exact english terms...

Yes, it is. You can do that by go to your character's page and then there's a link called "User Information", don't know what's it's in french so I'll give Altavista's translation program a try. (According to it it's called L'Information D'Utilisateur in French.Tell me if it's wrong. ) There you take ÉDITEZ L'INFORMATION (EDIT INFO). There's where you can change the language.
My guy's on a major mood downer at the moment. Any tips on a quick boost in mood? I've read through Minty's article on improving mood - from his advice I ate some chocolate and cake but it didn't seem to make a difference. I also gave myself $40 and set my priority to 'go shopping' but still there's no mood boost
The shopping method of boosting your mood usually takes a few updates to show some progress. You could always add "pick flowers" too. Have you been studying skills a lot? That can bring your mood down.
Archi: Set your career missions to "pick flowers". Seems ridiculous, but it increases mood. Composing music should also up your mood. 2nd effect of composing is having more songs in your repertory, while picking flowers will allow you to offer flowers to those wonderfull ladies you've felt in love with
Seen as I had not been on Pop for a bit I was suprised to see my character in good condition still. I have started checking it everyday now so hopefully our shows will become alot better.
*sorry guys, I know it is probably my fault why the shows was low and everything. Sorry again*
I think we all know people come and go abit like tides... it even happens with us on the Admin Team and I think we're pretty close knit and committed, so it's just the way of life really. What's important is that you're back And that was one of my hopes for putting together this tour, to give us all something tangible in the game to shoot for and look forward to. Otherwise in a game that is as broad and long-term based as this you can kind of lose your way a bit so hopfully the tour will be a fun thing for us and the newer guys can join us on the duration of the whole next tour instead of just the early stops.
It's pretty wicked that we have as many players in the game as we do and we should rely on that more, it gives us a huge advantage, and it's a lot of fun too
Yeah I know what you mean Minty. I was supposed to do some more logos for the EHM but I was too busy. More bussier than I actually expected so that was why I never got any more done. Shame really as I wanted to.
I think with us all having a character (well most of us) it makes it more fun and we do have a big advantage like you say. Especially if we all work together.
I've discovered a good way of getting your mood up: Eating lots of fancy meals! At $13 they increase your mood by 3% each time. I just got my mood up from 22% to 59% I know there's the drawback that it'll make me unfit but I was so fit anyway that I can afford to lose some of it.
Now I've set my priority to exercise (improve my fitness) and to compose music (maintain my mood).
Archi: the percentage of mood increasement is not a hard-and-fast one It depends on everyone's character... So it's 3% for your character (and for mine too ), but will maybe be 1% or 0% for an other guy.
Kind of cool, the CEO of Masque LA signed our Guestbook. Also in the latest update TDG is back up in the 300's again: 395 Not quite as high as we've been but better than having fallen to the low 600's.
One thing I saw Jonah (one of the developers, the Popo equivalent of Riz or Graeme) on the PopoForums say is that it's always been meant to be a rollercoaster, an up and down kind of thing but it's always easier to get back to where your highest point again. It's the making that level the first time that's the hard part.

I'm pretty sure your mood will drop back down again. Maybe not to where you were but it will drop by the next day. The fancy meals provide a nice temporary boost. They're helpful if you want your mood up for a show or whatever.
Ah rubbish! You're right, B72. It's dropped back down to 29%. At least it was high when I started composing so hopefully I'll fire out a decent song. Though I still need to find a way to get my mood up. In the last update "my day was spoiled by an annoying customer". Doh!
For anyone interested in seeing what we did for our setlist I've been adding screenshots of the VIP setlists to the Knowledge Base, I just put up our Comp show and our LA show:
Ahhhh! Nice to see my stagediving gone awry again. That tumble cost me somewhere between 15-20 health. That hurt!
I've actually visualized what it looked like. Ever see PCU? If you have, remember towards the end of the movie when Gutter was up on the stage while George Clinton was playing? Right as he dives off the stage and into the crowd, everybody moves because the door burst open and they're busted. Gutter just slams to the floor with nothing to cushion the blow. That was me at our comp gig!
Ha! That's basically how I pictured too but with more angle to it so you kinda bounced and skidded a few times. It will be epic when you pull it off though I guess it's a good thing I didn't have you climb the speakers first or you might have been in the hospital At least Jeb can always change his shirt...

I actually saw that "stagedive from top of speakers" option and thought about it for a minute. Then I decided... "Ummm... let me try a basic one first". I'm sooooo glad I did! Once I get my second star in stage diving, I'll give it another shot. I'm guessing I'll be trying it again somewhere in the next few shows.
BTW, when folks get the chance (maybe between the mini tour and the big tour?) they should work on their yoga. It's supposed to help you lose less health over the long haul and gain more health when you go to the gym. This can be a BIG help when you're touring.
Keep in mind that usually skills get to a decent level at 3 stars, that's when you can branch out to a more advanced level of the skill (like from basic strings to a particular type of string instrument skill etc) so you might not see much benefit from it until you hit that 3 star level, and of course you'll only get max benefit at 5 stars, but yeah that's why I've been buying the new players a Yoga book.
