Discussion about mistakes etc. for EHM FINLAND ROSTERS v1 NHL ROSTER UPDATE (BETA)
Next, and hopefully final BETA version is on the way.

1. Where are you from?
2. Are there any attribute changes to the roster players?
3. What kind of form is this roster update in?

Lazion...thanks for the answers. No worries about the English. Question 3 is clearly not needed anyway.

However, with the attribute changes, do you have a list of what changes you have made?

I know for some people there is no concern here, but for me to use the d-base, I would like to know what changes are made that affect the game, so that I can determine in my own mind if I want to use your rosters or not.

I totally agreed with batdad. A complete list of attribute change would be great.. but maybe difficult to do but.. i had to ask

Yes it is timetaking and difficult too. But when conseriding.. that is a very good idea.

Sorry Lazion, another question. What database is your 2007-08 roster update based on? Is it TBL DB? THE original? unfaking (if so which version?)?

Thanks. So that you know..you will never be able to do a full change list, because the unfaking crew has already changed a ton of attributes, potential and current ability as well as overwriting players I believe to add in some not in the game and not faked (or at least not found to be faked) in that version of the game. Thanks for letting us know what your base point was, and I hope that those who try it find it a good db. Have fun, and keep working on those projects. EHM guys are always cool in my book.

Again...for many this will be fine and as Tasku said, choice is a good thing for all, and we appreciate your work a ton.

Witch of those shall I have to get the latest NHL updates and Finland?

Version: 07-08 EHM Finland Rosters v1+NHL Roster Update (1.0 BETA)
Version: TBL Rosters 2007-08: NHL v1.1

Is Finland Roster in "TBL Rosters 2007-08: NHL v1.1" to maybe? Or is ..... I dont get it for the moment.

NHL is updated in both versions, but Finland is only updated in 07-08 EHM Finland Rosters v1+NHL Roster Update (1.0 BETA) .

I am currently working on updating TBL Rosters 2007-08: NHL v1.1 for the Swedish leagues. When Tasku has recovered from editing this DB, he will update Finland in it.

EHM Finland's project includes the NHL and SM-liiga, while our project at the moment only includes then NHL, although other leagues, including Finnish SM-liiga will be added later.

This one is an independent project and has no connection to the TBL Update, which we are working on.

A little confusing, I know, but I guarantee you, both of these are a high quality product.

So I'm thoroughly enjoying my 1st season with La-Z's great roster pack when I start realizing that none of the players whose contracts are about to come up are UFA's; every single player whose contract expires, regardless of age or experience, is an RFA. Upon further examination, every single player in the league has 0 seasons accrued with this database, which is obviously what is causing this issue. Everything seems to be in order however; using the pre-game editor, every player's history is listed (though for some reason, it does not show the team with which players played in the History tab, only the league (NHL)). Can anyone help me find out how to make seasons accuring properly with each player's history?

No idea on this sorry. If I were you I would also PM La-Z because I am not sure how often he is around. I also changed the name of your thread to make it more general for questions about the WHA mod.

Doesnt have any idea about that.. if i remember right.. there wasnt such a problem in the last version.. wonder why.
Sometimes database just makes errors by oneself. But anyway ill take closer look into.

If u add 1 year to player history, that doesn't counts in NHL experience.
So there isn't any common between NHL Experience and player history.
Looks like the NHL experience is hardcoded stuff.
Between v. 1.0 and 1.1 I struggle with a error and buried roster project for a while.. maybe it is achievement from that.. don't know.

My game freezes with this rooster after a year, 27 july i think. But its probably something wrong with my manager not the rooster. Gonna reinstall today and try again.

I ran into 2 issues using version 1.1. I didn't know 1.2 was out. Going to try it now.

The issues I had were:

1: Two AHL teams (Toronto & Milwaukee) had no schedules for 2006-2007, therefore they played no games. This also caused the AHL playoffs to never take place.

2: I get a crash to desktop when trying to advance to the morning of June 26, 2007. It happens every time I try. I couldn't find a way around it.

1: I know that problem. Maybe i remove 2 teams in next version.

2: I have played to the year 2011 with these rosters. Try go to vacation at that day.
