there are now many good updates for roster and database on this site in the download section.
Among these ones, there is the TBL:DB "Unfaking" Database, La-Z 2007-08 Roster update v1.3 and TBL Rosters 2007-08 v1.4.
I never installed one of those but what I can understand in the installation notes, is that when we start a new game, we can choose wich database we want to load. If this the way it works, that means we can't update the 3.0.4 default database with all of them concurrently. So we can't take advantage from each one different update.
I think that the TBL:DB "Unfaking" Database is included in the TBL Rosters 2007-08 v1.4 but i'm not sure for the La-Z 2007-08 Roster update v1.3 ... is this true ?? and does the La-Z 2007-08 Roster update v1.3 have the TBL:DB "Unfaking" Database included ??
Finally, if we have no choice to choose beetween La-Z 2007-08 Roster update v1.3 and TBL Rosters 2007-08 v1.4 (as the TBL:DB "Unfaking" Database could be included in both), wich one is considered the best ? The TBL Rosters 2007-08 v1.4 seem to be bigger but i like the fact that the payer attribute are modified in the La-Z 2007-08 Roster update v1.3 ... because a lot of player are badly represented.

I think the Laz update is based on, not the TBL:DB, but another unfaking done by EHM Finland. I'm sure Laz himself can correct me on this if I'm wrong.
And no, you may not use different parts of different databases, you have to choose one. The good thing is that TBL Update and Lazion Update are so fundamentally different on pretty much all aspects, that you can make your pick by reading their descriptions and settle for which ever more suits your needs.
