Cool article! Hadn't seen that one. Good to hear he is making progress at least. Make sure you put a couple word description of any link you post, though with the dancin' smiley >I< of course knew it was good news on Cole and checked it out, but others might miss out.

Wow... just plain too much Rolosson :dunno: Bryzgalov made some great saves too but no matter how much they dominate the game in possession time and shots Anaheim isn't getting the payoff as Rolo is playing out of his mind right now. Either of these games really could have gone either way. Shaping up to be a interest series that I get a feeling will go 7.

Looks like Edmonton is coming in from the West and they are gonna get a long rest. (Hey that rhymed)

Maybe it will slow them down a bit while we fight the Sabres :-D

Something funny:

2003: Detroit out against Anaheim. Anaheim loses game 7 in the finals.
2004: Detroit out against Calgary. Calgary loses game 7 in the finals.
2006: Detroit out against Edmonton. Edmonton... :dunno:

Weird, eh? :)

While I really want the Canes to get to the Final I can''t say I mind having another game as this series has been great to watch

And I've come to dislike the antics of the Oilers and I'm going to have a hard time getting exited to watch them again...

I dislike the noncall on Briere that led to the overtime goal last night, but we can't usually get the opposite of what we dislike, eh?

Gratz to the Canes and all their fans. What a great series that was. I would have been happy to see either team go to the finals. I hope the Stanley Cup finals are just as exciting.

I was doubly pleased with Carolina winning since I of course have been cheering for them all along but also because I think with the way that Buffalo was being ground down by their injury situation Edmonton would have just rolled over them in four games. That really would have been a bummer end to a great season so I'm glad to see that at least the Final will be a battle

I just don't understand why if this was the latest a series could go that they didn't plan Game 1 for Sunday instead of Monday :dunno:

I'm hoping for the Oil in the finals. Go Oilers! Bring that Cup back to Canada! =D>

Everytime you root for the Hurricanes, you kill a baby kitten...

That's ok, we're in the Finals and Buffalo isn't

It's not the number of kittens killed, it's the number of games you win. 8-)

Hey man I ain't bandwagon jumpin or anything; I've been pulling for this team since early on in the season because I love the way they play. Every time you don't support your team in the playoffs someone becomes a NASCAR fan... you can have that on your head if you want but I'd rather be able to sleep at night so I've made my cheering intentions clear all along :-p

I don't know what I hate more... kittens or the fact that another team from the south has a chance at the cup...probably the latter.

I haven't decided whether I want the Hurricanes to suffer or whether I want the team that beat my team to win. It depends on what level of irrational bitterness I decide upon...

And P.S. - Who hates kittens? I don't even like cats, but that is one cute kitten...

My kitten = cuter than that kitten.

Sorry.

I like both these teams, but I think I might find myself rooting for Edmonton, only because I'd like to see Samsonov win a Cup.

Isn't it funny though how a team from a market where they can barely get half capacity in the stadium during the regular season is now in the finals? When will these NC people learn? Hockey RULES!!!
