Problem is my database folder is empty

Nice work BK, just one question.

You put the draft 2017 results into your database but how does it work when the manager hit the draft in june 2017 when results are already there and the start of the database is still 2016? Empty draft class?

I still can not start the game

My game started july 2nd 2017 (early start date) so obviously no problem there.

Only issue I have found so far is that players (RFA and UFA) seem to sign very cheap contracts.

Guys how did you start the game?
My database folder is empty and once I put only twho files from downloaded file into database file game crashes....

I just copied the 2 new files to this folder (playing via Steam):

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Eastside Hockey Manager\data\database

I did the same...do you know by any chance why my database folder in the path you described was empty before I copied two files?
I have only those two files there in database folder and game is crashing , even do not start

Dunno if there's an easy fix or you'll have to re-install.

You mean reinstall whole game?
There should be some other way how to fix it...can you send me via private message your files in database folder please?

Correct on both accounts. Early start is still after the draft so it's fine in regards to that. This db will always start for the 2017-18 season, not 3016-17.

And free agents (especially RFAs) tend to sign cheap 1 year deals in the starting summer, can't do much about that. Usually though they will sign more expensive long term deals in the season after they are under contract already, I seem to find.

Full database size is fine but read my disclaimer on the other page about leagues. This is an NHL based update and I can't guarantee playability or stability if you select leagues outside the North America. You won't even be able to select some.

so should I start only with NHL then?

Ok, one last update before the holiday weekend (here in the states) and free agent frenzy:
- Added Thursdays transactions (ie Hartnell, Pouliot now UFAS...also made Tkachyov an UFA so you can try and sign him)
- Updated some 2018 draftees (HINT: you WANT WANT WANT Dahlin or Svechnikov in the draft...they are pretty souped up ratings wise so that within a year they are ready to enter the NHL and be phenoms like Matthews/Laine were this past year...that's the hope anyways! Let me know if it actually happens!)
- Updated ratings of some expected Calder candidates so they get more important roles from the drop on their teams (ie, Chabot, McAvoy, Keller, Strome, Connoer, Boeser, Ho-Sang, etc)
- Added Zadina to Halifax since it seems likely he will be going there. So he and Svechnikov are playing CHL...rest of CHL draft is yet to be updated
- Made sure a lot of the really good CHL-drafted 2001 birthdates are now starting on their respective OHL/WHL/QMJHL clubs. Far from a comprehensive list but includes most of the top prospects in each of those leagues for that draft year (another hint: Alexis Lafreniere is another potential phenom, not draft eligible till 2020 though!)
- Updated Kootenay Ice colors to go with new logo

It is an EHM 1 format database and so there is no index.dat. Everything is in the database.db file and the cfg files.

If you mean for career histories, the yes, for NHL 16-17 season - but nothing outside that.

- Updated transaction include Johansson, Radulov, Hemsky, Dansk, etc - includes all signings, trades and extensions (ie Price, Fowler, Vlasic) from this past weekend
- Moved 2018 blue chip draft prospect Khovanov to Moncton in the QMJHL
- A few other updates for NCAA recruits and some former NHL properties signing in Europe

Because the majority of free agents have been signed now, you can probably start a career with "normal" start date instead of "early" start date and have plenty of time to get your pre-season sorted.

Last version, when you check the info of non-playing players's on ufa, the game crashed

Thanks for Updated Stats. Is it the same one on Steam? This is much easier to Edit in Editor.
