3.) Would you want me to leave player ratings the same as the default ones, or edit them accordingly?

This has long been a hotly debated issue. It has both advantages and disadvantages. If done properly, it could enhance the game and make it even more realistic. However, the problem is are we really in a good enough position to be able to realistically alter attributes? Is watching games on TV or going to see the occasional game enough to be able to accurately rate a player? I think it takes a fair bit of skill to realistically rate players - I used to have season tickets at my local football (soccer) team (Tranmere Rovers) but I don't think I could accurately rate a player in all of the different attributes in SI's Football Manager. But then again, were SI's voluntary researchers in any better a position?

4.) Would anyone want to contribute to what they think any player rating should be?

You can certainly use this thread to get people's opinions on what attributes need to be changed, but be very careful when implementing their suggestions so that attribute changes remain realistic.
