So I'm thinking I'd like my attributes tweaked a bit. Could we move a point out of each of my Checking and Pokecheck and put them both in Passing?

So new attributes would be: CH - 7 PC - 7 PA - 12 SH - 14

Can I get a thumbs up for that teammates/captain? ;)

Sure.

I alter my attributes to 11 on each of the stick and the glove instead.

Gagnon shown making a save vs the Blackhawks...

Image

He said after the game. "Im happy I wasnt signed to the Blackhawks earlier in the year like was rumoured.. becuase they suck... not as bad as Whalers.. but as far as sucking... they are pretty high up on the suck scale."

Clearly not having played the Whalers yet this season...Gagnon is forgetting...until he does he looks good. But when he plays the only team in the league that refuses to play the blasted trap...Monsiuer Gagnon is going to look like Roland Melanson, and Jaroslav Halak...or Carey Price against the babies from beantown... :-p

Team captains - if you want to alter a player's attributes (you can alter up to three players (including yourself)), make sure you post the changes in the Mentalities thread.

For those that are unsure about when and how you can alter a players attributes, here is an explanation I gave in the Mentalities thread:

If you lose a game then you (the Team Captain) are allowed to alter the attributes of up to three players in your team. For each player you can move up to three attribute points from one or more skills to different skills. You cannot move attributes between players, however.

For example, if I had a player called Wayne Gretzky and he had the following stats: 8 8 12 12. I could move a total of three attribute points a reassign them to different skills. So I could take 1 point off his checking and 2 points off his passing and then move these 3 points to scoring so his stats would now be 7 8 10 15. Note how he still has the same total number of attribute points (i.e. 40 pts).

You can do this for up to three players in your team every time you lose. The idea behind this is that you can fine tune your players to give you a better chance of winning.

You might want to discuss changes with your fellow team mates. Or maybe not - whatever you prefer!

Is anyone on Joe's team willing to act as team captain during his eleven day absence?

A warm welcome to Ryujin who joins the Chicago Black Hawks. He is the first user on their team so he's also the team captain. Hopefully some new users will join so that he'll have some company on his team.

A tough result for Ryuzin's first game in charge. Perhaps he needs to tone down his all-out attack a little. ](*,) A good win for Minnesota ensures they don't start drifting away from the rest of the pack.

A disappointing tie for us Nordiques. I'd have like to have seen us win that one. Whilst we have the best defence in the league, we also have the worst offence. We've got an important game next week against second-placed Hartford. Perhaps we should set our whole forward line to aggressive as the Whalers are gaining a reputation for scoring - particularly that Batdad!

Joe Helmer's Hartford put in a good display against the Jets. I think they're probably the biggest goal-scoring threat in the league. Winnipeg did put up a valiant fight, though.

Bring on round 4! 8-)

We've really got to start scoring more! We've got the best goaltender in the league and our defense has been backing him up. We've really got to open things up as forwards though. I'm all for having all three of us go aggressive!

As The ROCK would say :IT doesn't matter....what team you are on. The Whalers are gonna layeth the smack down on you.

Oh and Loxish...keep it up bud. I need someone pushing me to keep me going! This league is too easy. :-D
