I agree after this move he will no longer be liked by Canadian fans.

Never liked him. Never will. Wish the Laffs had drafted him. Anyway, indefinite suspension. Charges from police pending. Good. Go to jail jerkwad.

I just hope the ''indefinite suspension'' will not become a stupid 15 matchs after the announce the real verdict. Maybe he's got a chance to go to jail but i'm not really sure about this.

Great news about Mikeal Tam, he get out of the hospital last night and he is heading back to Quebec. He will have to do some others test but he is ok, we just don't know how long he will be injured. For Cormier, no news about the verdict.

The QMJHL have finally announce is verdict this morning. Cormier will be suspended for the rest a the regular season and the playoffs. Now that's what i'm talking about.

I hope he would think twice next time.

I hope he is not able to get a deal with the Devils and play in Lowell.

Is he 20 years old yet?

Nearly. I think there was talk of the AHL commissioner letting him in if he's suspended for the season.
Which he now has been.

Devils have signed him already. Done way before. AHL may honor suspension, may not. Either way..the little dufus will get ice time in Lowell (practice) unless charges are laid, and the judge says no crossing the border. Cormier should be banned from all hockey leagues for at least a year. Practice too. No skating...no nothing. Would love to see a judge sentence him to one year with NO ICE TIME.

If that could really happen one day, it will be great, but i don't think so.

I read on Twitter (I think it was Puck Daddy re-tweeting a HNIC guy) that he won't be playing in the AHL this year, per the Devils.

He can't play in the AHL until his junior team's season is over or if they'll release his rights. He could go to Europe. He'd fit in well with Vityaz Chekhov

No devils GM said he wont go anywhere, wont even let him go to the lower league levels like liambas did. He will go to AHL once released or team is out of playoffs like you said

As DJP said. Lamoriello won't allow him to play anywhere else this season. Good!

The Huskies are already appealing the suspension. Saying that if they don't the Q Cup this year. Their Franchise is doomed.

Yes Tourigny really exagerating, i can understand how he feels, but it's up to your player to think about it first, so to bad for them. The more games he will miss, the most he would think about it.

Great article from a great site dedicated to prospects in hockey
2011 NHL Entry Draft
B72: IF the Leafs suck again next year and your team gets RNH....I am going to either:
1. Lose it.
2. Become a Bruins fan (with Lucic there I am half way)
But god I love it...The loafs could have had him too. BWAH!!!

Nice link!
You should just become a Bruins fan now. They're going to turn their season around and then add either Hall or Fowler this year and then maybe your boy, Nugent-Hopkins next year. Plus, Neely was a Vancouver boy. You've got lots of reasons to love the B's.

Yeah I know..I don't hate them that is for sure. At least not like the Flemmes, Blues, Rangers, Habs and Loafs....One could say they are my favorite North East Division team.

I'm really intrigued by that Larsson kid out of the SEL. They had a source that said without hesitation that he will be better than Hedman and is already better than he was at that age. Very impressive!

Yeah, they probably should not have spoken to the kid's dad.

I think Adam Larsson will be very good in the future and no doubt about that there will be at least two very good Swedish defensemen in NHL in the future. To me it feels that the generation of Swedish players coming up nowadays are better than the one with Forsberg, Näslund and Sundin.

The Junior leagues are becoming a bit of a joke...
Marco Scandella elbows Alexandre Durette... Similar to the Cormier incident...
