My powerplay is 26.8% right now. PK is only 88%.

After that I logged my first 20 games my team has improved in PP and is now 15.6% after 24 games and my PK is at 86.2%.

Alexob, with "only" 88% you would be best in Western Conference in my game.
By the way has any of you scouted the college leagues? I have and it doesn't seems to be many future stars there in the beginning of the game, according to my scouts.

To follow up on the earlier Briere trade...
Philly let Boucher go to free agency the day after the deal. Now it's the middle of November, and the Flyers have re-signed Boucher and waived Bryzgalov.

Against the 'Nucks:
5-2 win.
PP is now 27.4%
PK is now 89%
I'm quite content.

Alex, head over to the Special Teams Tactics thread and spill the beans!
Joe, I've scout the USA in general for 17-18 year olds and so far I haven't found much. I'm guessing the talent just isn't there this year. I'm also finding very little in Europe so far. Sweden and Finland are coming up pretty bare. Russia has a few standouts so far but not much.

Haha it's not so much how I use the tactics, I just cater them to how my offence is firing and what style the other team plays. That and Stastny Wolski and Hedjuk are firing on all cylinders

Yeah, those are great on scoring. I think that line is behind half of my goals or even more. Somtimes it happens that the 2nd line score and sometimes Durno in the 3rd line.

I just wish Durno could skate!
Has anyone run into stamina issues with Duchene? I had to drop the shift length on my 2nd line to 30 seconds (down from 40) because he was showing up as "Exhausted" after games.
Anderson is finally stepping up and taking the role of starting goaltender. For a while there he was letting in too many and Budaj was doing better.

I hope Duchene's stamina increases in OHL for me.

Wow this is certainly one of the most stupid thing i've see so far.

I have Duchene in the AHL. He's over a ppg, and developing quite well actually.

I wish I had taken a screenshot at the beginning of Duchene's attributes at the beginning of the season (or used my attribute tracking spreadsheet) so we could compare his growth. So far (based on the green numbers in the training screens) his Deking, Teamwork, Stickhandling, Faceoffs, Getting Open, and Passing have gone up in his time with the Avs in my game. I'm guessing they're all by 1.

Just look it up in the pre-game editor and then you can compare

Ha I like how he's progressing. I intend to let him up next year and promote O'Reilly to the AHL. They'll be both on my roster within 2 years.

Good point. I think I'll do that after the season ends.

I just had Svatos score a natural hat trick. 3 goals, uninterrupted, all in the first period, and all assisted by Wolski and Stastny.
I also got a news item saying that Kelsey Tessier was 1st star and captain in the Q All-Stars vs Russian Selects game. He had 1 goal, 4 assists, +5, and 2 PIM. I'll have to keep an eye on him.

Haha I'll be keeping an eye on him too then
Haha not like I'm not already though... but still.

There was a typo in his stats. It should read 15-1-4. I fixed it.
