Not had much time to play since release date just done my first season with the Steelers finnished second in the league then lost in the first round of the play offs

Any idea why Nottingham finished bottom in your game? Did they have a lot of injuries?

I'll be honest I didn't pay too much attention to them and have started the new season

No worries. Was just curious whether they needed their player attributes reviewing. I've seen the Panthers finish bottom in a test I had recently. However, when I checked the team's Transaction log for the season I could see that they'd suffered a huge number of injuries. IIRC David Clarke was injured about 4 times in the season.

They've improved there team vastly in the second season

Finally finished top of the league in season 5

Nice to see the standings are still reasonably realistic after 5 seasons. Just Nottingham that are shaky.

They are top so far in season 6 winning 6 from 6 so far

I just finished my second season as coach of the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks (my hometown team). The first season I won the Western Conference, but lost in the Conference Finals to the St. Louis Blues, who went on to win the Stanley Cup. In my second season, I had the second best record in the Western Conference and went on to win the Stanley Cup by defeating the Tampa Bay Lighting in the finals. I then downloaded the latest patch, but had to abandon my save because the trading system no longer worked. I could not offer or accept trades and the game thought I was the Boston Bruins. After starting a new game, this time as the Colorado Avalanche, the trading works fine.

the new patch has automatically made my star centre go on each line as a centre...this is starting a new modern day game. Didn't happen until the 4th season in and he went from high 90 in points on one line to over 180 points the first time it did that. So the next season I cranked up all his attributes because my league was already ruined and he ended the season with the following:

81 GP
423 G
147 A
570 Pts

We have many new nhl records ..it's not like the game tracks that very well though.

My team finished 79-2-1

10 of the top 20 players in league point totals were on my team with 8 coming in the top 10. (all of them being a winger or defence of course)

The only plus here is its good to see the superstars really do make their linemates better

Funny thing is the leafs have never had 3 players get over 30 goals in one season after this whole phenomenon, it still didn't happen. Only 2 finished with over 30 goals but the others had tons of assists.

So my Steelers game keeps crashing so i'll wait till the patch comes out to try and sort that out. In the mean time I've started out with Vancouver.








I got rid of all the players who wouldn't sign new deals and the ones that didn't have a good potential rating swapped one of the Sedins and a whole years worth of draft picks to get Kane

I was hanging around the cap limit for much of the season so that why I ended up with so few players at the end of the season.

Season 2 over with in Vancouver











Only had 2 centers all season so had Kesler on 2 lines on his way to 140+ points on the season shame about getting knocked out in the first round of the play-offs

Sestito almost a 40 pts season? You got to be kidding me! You stats seems weak if we look how good your offence did.

Hmm Pts and PIM seem far off what they should be...

I've installed the new patch now so things may change.

Second season Niederreiter 68 goals, and Granlund 75 assists. They might be promising, but they're not THAT good next year.

Season 3









Kane was top scorer in the regular season, managed to get into play offs at the very end only to go out 4-0 in the first round

The stats are not very regular it seems.

After having to abandon my Chicago Blackhawks game after two seasons due to incompatibility of the new patch and my save, I started over as the Colorado Avalanche.

In Season #1, I finished fourth in the Central Division after leading the division for most of the year. Therefore, I qualified for the top wild card spot (#7) for the playoffs. Beat the St. Louis Blues in the first round, but then lost to the Chicago Blackhawks in the second round. The Blackhawks went on to win the Stanley Cup. They swept the Montreal Canadiens. My team was plagued with injuries during the playoffs, which made things tough.

I have since downloaded the final version of the patch, and it appears that the save is compatible and that I will be able to continue my game as the Avalanche.

Season 4 with Vancouver was largely uninspiring we finished 12th in our conference with a record of 39-38-5

Anaheim went on to win the Stanley Cup beating the Islanders 4-2

Sestito managed 31 points Neal was the teams top scorer with 72 points

YOu would likely do better if you quit playing Sestito on the 1st line.

Haha I don't play him on the first line he plays on the second

Season 5









Had a really good regular season for a change but was annihilated by Edmonton in the first round of the play-offs

Season 6









Almost had the best record in the league and almost won the play-offs

Really happy with how the team is coming along though got a few more prospects in for next season got a good young keeper from Latvia who has a potential of 10.5
