Yes and no. We will release an update Before the NHL trade deadline but after the European transfer deadline (Jan.31) I can't say exactly how long after, though

Just an observation from my site: While the lowered cap appears to work out good at first, after 10 years or so, teams run into deep trouble. Most of the teams have the caps maxed out and the free agent market is flooded with high end talent that no one can sign.

So I am really thinking about using the save game editor and raise the cap up to 48m or so. While I like the challenge for my own team, it got somewhat weird. Pretty much all of my front line players were looking for 4-5m and more per season, which seems a bit high for a 44m cap. Basically I am now following the Pittsburgh model: paying my stars top money and fill out the rest with some plug to stay within the cap. :D

Yes, this is something I've noticed as well.
It is very possible that we'll raise the cap and the budgets

Add Girts Ankipans (DoB: 29.11.1975, Riga, Latvia, international: 105 16+29) as coach of Dinamo Riga
Add Juris Klodans (DoB: 25.05.1974, Riga, Latvia, international: 22 0+0) as (goaltender) coach of Dinamo Riga
Abbreviation for Dinamo Riga is DRG

HK Liepajas Metalurgs don't exist anymore - delete it or rename it to HK Liepaja (technically a new club, but...), which play in Latvian Championship and I am not sure that it is still professional, but semi-pro for sure is!
If you rename club, then remove all staff except Martins Gipters (number: 22, 181cm, 85kg)
The only other player who playes for this club and is in database is Dmitrijs Kornilovs (number: 52, 180cm, 88kg)
If you are willing to add more HK Liepaja players to DB, then I can post full squad list!

I'll add these changes tonight.
Atm, I don't have time to add the new players as we are making a release very soon. I can definately add them for a later release!

OK, then I post squad lists for all Latvian Championship teams later and will start with club corrections that play in it!
In Latvian Championship season 2014/2015 play 7 teams:

HK Mogo (technically a new club, but you can rename SMScredit.lv as it don't exist anymore); year founded: 2014; arena: Inbox.lv ledus halle

HK Kurbads (technically a different club, but you can rename ASK Ogre as it don't exist anymore); year founded: 1996; arena: Vidzemes ledus halle (corect spelling)

HK Liepaja (wrote about it in my previous post); year founded: 2014; arena: Liepajas OC ledus halle (rename: in DB as Olimpiska Ledus Halle)

HK Zemgale/LLU (rename: in DB as HK Zemgale Jelgava); year founded: 2004; arena: Jelgavas ledushalle

HS Riga/Prizma (rename: in DB as HS Riga Prizma/Hanza); year founded: 1996; arena: Volvo sporta centra ledus halle (not in DB! City: Riga)

Ogre/Saga97 (create: not in DB); year founded: 2011; arena: Vidzemes ledus halle

Jurmala HASC (create: not in DB); year founded: 2014; arena: Majoru ledus halle (not in DB! City: Jurmala)

OK - then I will wait for now, just wondering what kind of files they are and will I need a special program to open them...?

You need an office program, like Microsoft Office or LibreOffice or OpenOffice.

I totally agree! I had been using an old version of MS Office (2000 maybe?) and when my computer died I started using Open Office (which I had been using occasionally before then). Even with a new, faster computer, Open Office kept crashing on me when I used bigger spreadsheets (which I usually do at work). I decided to give Libre Office a try. I was so pleased with it, I've been using it since and haven't looked back. That recent upgrade made it even better.

You might actually be better off using Office 2003. It will be compatible with the xml spreadsheets we use to create players (whereas LibreOffice doesn't fully support them and we have to use csv files instead). Using xml files is going to be essential for the Latvian teams because many players have carons in their names.

Talking about those corons... Does EHM supports all of them or only some, because I saw in DB incorrect latvian surnames (for example, Dārziņš as Darzinš)? If, for example, corons ā and ņ are not supported, then for me, as latvian, would be better that such surname as Dārziņš is simply written as Darzins not Darzinš! From my point of view if name or surname supports all coron letters, then it could be written with corons, but if at least one is missing, then, at least from my point of view, such name or surname is unnecessary crippled...

It only supports some carons I'm afraid. :-(

It supports c, d, e, n, r, s and z with carons.

I was planning to write those Latvian names and surnames without corons anyway, because like I wrote - if there is no full support of them, then I don't see a point to use them at all!
Anyway, I have instaled LibreOffice 4.4 too and I found it very similar to MS Office 2003, at least on first look, so it doesn't matter for me which of these two programs to use.

While creating players for Latvian Championship I found one error in Latvian city DB: Brotseni should be Broceni + you can add new city Aizpute, because one of HK Liepaja players have born there and I have added it as his city of birth! If you don't want to add it then let me know - I will leave it blank!

Hello! I just wanted to add a minor mistake.
Gustaf Franzén in Kitchener Rangers, shoots/catches with his right, not his left.
Auston Matthews in U.S National dev team U17, shoots/catches with his left, not his right

You said that you raised budgets and salary cap for NHL teams in 7.2, but when I started game with AVS I saw players earning (Duchene, Oreilly, Varlamov) only 2,89 mil ? :dunno:

Yes, I raised the cap 2,5 million and the budgets, too.
I did not raise the salaries, because then the other raise would have been in vain.
The reason I raised the cap is that so many players were sitting on the sidelines due to them wanting more Money than the teams were willing to give. Hopefully, it will help.
The salaries were calculated to fit the 44 million dollar cap. (Real cap divided by game cap times the real contract)
Entry-level contracts has the same cap IRL as in game.

If this doesn't work well, then I am toying with the idea of deleting all player salaries and letting the game decide for itself.
