Why SKA as favorite?
Said numerous times that he wants to play there and/or Novokuznetsk once he's done with NHL. He owns a house there btw

Ok, I was just wondering. I haven't seen your posts about Bob before.

Alexei Marchenko for Detroit/Grand Rapids is in the game as strictly an LD, but he plays RD for the Wings. He and Mike Green are the only right-handed defensemen on the team.
Thanks for all the work you guys do on these!

I noticed Alex Galchenyuk's secondary nationality is Russian. . . makes no sense. He's American from Belorussian descent.
Carey Price is from Anaheim Lake, not Williams Lake.
Jake Muzzin is from Woodstock, Ontario. Not Woodstock, New Brunswick.

To add to that, Shayne Gostisbehere REALLY needs a bump.
Props to y'all who make the rosters, you guys do a great job!

It's my fault. It was a technical decision, because under old rules he wouldn't be counted as foreigner in Russia with Russian passport, while he would with BLR passport, and in Belarus he would not with RUS passport (I hope it's clear lol).
I think he should be set USA/BLR as I'm pretty sure that in the unlikely case he'll play in BLR, he won't be a foreigner,.

Once again "my fault" as he played LD in Russia (although he's in NA for some years already...)

Missing retired numbers for the Edmonton Oilers:
#11 Mark Messier
#9 Glenn Anderson
Contract extension already in the database

Some of the players have contracts extension like Tomas Plekanec, their contract for the next season was in the database but when the season turn, the contract doesnt came in, so Plekanec came UFA....

in the "contract extensions" section his name is spelled wrong, there is an accent aigu (á) missing by his forename
if you added it, it should work fine
btw john gibson´s contract extension isn´t shown in the game because he is on the gulls roster not in anaheim´s roster

Not NHL specific, but this guy is one of the better phys coaches in the game so he does end up with NHL clubs a lot. The canadian coach Phil_Walker_10_11_1964 is retired from coaching and runs a printing company in Kelowna these days. So he should be retired, even though I will miss his services.
On that note, him and just about every other coach in the game lost all their points in Motivating when 1.2 hit. Anything remotely DB linked or just something else? He went from 18/18 discipline/motivating to 18/3, and there are almost no coaches with good motivating left anymore:S

That sounds weird? Nothing game related update has ever hit specific attributes that I know about?!
Good that you noticed it! This information will surely get forward.

i forward what i wrote in EHM wishlist thread, because one member tell me to refer the matter here. So here i copy again my post for admin action.
"I wish for upcoming new season, please update New Jersey Devils retired numbers. in game it only state 3 & 4 (both for daneyko and stevens). Pls add no. 27 (neidermeyer), and no. 30 (brodeur).
Secondly, I wish the game, we can signing staff for AHL team when we control NHL club. For example, as NHL GM we can find and sign GM/AGM/HC/AC for our AHL team. Its more realistic to get a better development for prospect in minor. like real.
Thirdly, Pls update minor NHL/AHL team staff member, I saw NHL devils Owner & AGM is not update. While coach and GM for albany also not update.
4th, Stadium name for albany also need to change to barnabas health centre. - the name for arena is times union, the barnabas is for training facilities. sorry.
5th, why in staff/personnel windows, as GM, our age is not available? pls update this.
6th, its regarding player who is Qualifying offer, if not sign he will sign for other teams outside the league, but the right should be expired when it comes to certain age if I not mistake.
Thanks in advance for helping."
Hope it will be repaired and available in next update/ upcoming season. Thanks in advance.

riazorblues86 - it wasn't all of your Wish List post that connected to the database and not the game itself, only the specific three I noted.....

FYI the three issues above are database issues, not issues with the game itself (this thread is for "wishing for" things that are not ingame that users would like Riz/SI to add someday); there are three different Forums for reporting TBL database issues located here
http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=13 (I think the one you want is the "TBL Rosters Feedback: North America" Forum)
oh, thanks mister for telling me about it..will forward this matter there.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but the Arizona Coyotes have an owner now; Andrew Barroway owns 54% of the team
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_Barroway (in 8.2 Arizona has no "upper management")

Not sure if this has already been mentioned, but Deven Sideroff of Kamloops has his NHL Rights owned by the Anaheim Ducks in real life as they drafted him in 2015, however in the database, it says he was drafted at the same pick by Arizona.

Thanks!
I noticed it too when I set up his new contract.
Been like that for a year and nobody noticed!

The "Market Size" Attribute for NHL Clubs in TBL 8.2 seems off/incorrect in some cases...
I was working on the 1998 DB today, and discovered that all the NHL Clubs have a "1" for Market Size in the 1998 DB!
Or they did! they don't anymore HaHa
Anyways, back to TBL 8.2
To get an idea of what to use for the 1998 DB I looked at the Market Size Attributes as they are in TBL 8.2
Some make total sense to me, like Arizona being 4 and Boston being 19
But others don't.....Buffalo is an 8 (seems reasonable), but Chicago is 10 along with Edmonton (wouldn't Chicago be higher?), Los Angeles is only an 11 (and the Ducks are a 4, as is Pittsburgh), while Colorado is a 12 and Winnipeg is a 15!
I don't know what they should be, and didn't look at them all, and I totally know there's lots to do and things have been OK/working the way they are...just thought I'd mention it since I stumbled across it

Same as above, looking at TBL 8.2 as a reference for my work on the 98DB, this time looking at the City "Attraction" Attribute...
Here they are from TBL 8.2 - Bruins 18, Sabres 8, Flames 19, Hurricanes (Raleigh) 10, Chicago 18, Avalanche (Denver) 17, Blue Jackets 12, Stars 15, Red Wings 14, Oilers 17, Panthers (Miami) 16, Kings 18, Ducks 14, Wild (Minneapolis) 16, Canadiens 19, Predators 13, Devils (Newark) 11, Islanders (Brooklyn) 0, Rangers 20, Senators 17, Flyers 13, Coyotes (Phoenix) 15, Penguins 9, Sharks 15, Blues 13, Lightning 16, Maple Leafs 20, Capitals 18, Jets 15
What "stood out" the most to me is how high the Canadian teams are.....Vancouver might be closest to correct IMO but the prairie based teams (Oilers/Flames/Jets) all seem to high (especially Edmonton) + many players want to avoid Montreal/Toronto (and Ottawa's high too); in addition to "traditional/usual considerations" regarding city attractiveness higher taxes and more media scrutiny affect the attractiveness of all cities in Canada I think.....Washington also seems to high IMO and Minneapolis and Phoenix seem a bit high too + Pittsburgh seems a bit low (and Brooklyn is random/set at 0)
Just thought I'd mention it as like with Market Size I've stumbled across City Attraction ratings as a result of the 98DB work...

Carolina Hurricanes' retired numbers need to be updated. According to
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carolina_ ... ed_numbers, 2, 10, and 17 are retired. 3 isn't officially retired but it is "honored".
