I think you guys should go all seven rounds and include trading of anybody you want. Heck, you could even start signing staff and re-locating teams! I say, the more complicated and time consuming you make this, the better.

There's not much to re-start... this one still hasn't really gotten going (and it doesn't look like it ever will).
And if there was to be a re-do, I would suggest some more serious thought and planning first. Live forum drafts are huge tasks due to the need to work timezone differences, overall time constraints, and people's real-life schedules all together as one thing. Given the internationality of our community, I'd say these factors would be near impossible to pull together.
If anybody decides to start one of these in the future I think the best way to do it would be having polls for each pick instead of just relying on one person to make a pick. For example, on the first day a mod could open up a thread for the first overall pick and everybody could vote on who they think should be taken with the pick. The next day the thread would be closed and a new one would be opened for the 2nd pick, and so on. The biggest problem with this is that all the threads would clutter up the Hockey Talk Forum.

Yikes, I hadn't been on here in a while and saw this post. I thought it would be interesting and then realized all the teams were taken. As I read through post after post I think I am just going to stand over here and watch from afar. It's kind of like watching a car wreck. Gruesome but for some reason you can't take your eyes off of it.
