Did someone take them over after timmy_t stated he wouldn't be able to finish it?

There is no use for you to do something on them until we know how much he has done. Take another team

When's the latest you'd need the roster sent to you?
I've got free time again now so I could attempt to get a team done, if I don't hit your deadline well then it'll be ready for the next update at least.

I'll take on Vancouver. They've got a shorter prospect list so that'll work to my advantage. I'll get started tonight.

Do we rate all the players including roster players or just the prospects? :-?

This is just the prospects.

I an effort to see that we get as many teams done as possible, I'm only updating the to 20 prospects and the graduated players (according to hockey's future). I'm just about done Buffalo, and can start on another team soon.

Anyone against this?

I can try and do the Carolina Hurricanes and if I get them done, I can work on other teams.

Questions that need answers, please

Just Looking through the Prospect Guide Worksheet and had a few questions.

1. I only have to do the top 20 and other notables according to HF, right?

2. What League Rep do I use, the NHL, or how do I handle that?

3. Do I then add them to the Player Changes Sheet? And add all the details?

4. Do I need the Pre-Game Editor to Find out their attributes or use the CA and assign attributes?

Right now those are the questions I have, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

1) At this point, I would just stick to the top 20.

2) There's different league reps for each league, for example the NHL is 20, the AHL is less, and so on. Those can be found on the tabs at the bottom of the worksheet

3) The only details you need to change are the ones that have changed. It makes it easier for Manimal to add, rather than going through EVERY attribute, etc.

4) Yes, download the pre-game editor and make sure you're using Lidas 2.3 database to see the players attributes. We're making changes based off that roster. As for the attributes, adjust accordingly, but fairly.

Hopefully that helps, and that I was correct. Manimal or someone else may want to speak on this too, but I'm confident that should help.

That is completely fair. In fact, severeal of the researchers have done this

Thanks for the quick reply.

On the General Settings tab, there is the League Rep place that drives all the CA calculations. What am I supposed to use there?

Thanks again for all the help.

That will be different regarding each player. You will have to change it for every player as they play in different leagues. Look in the tab that says League Rep. Don't forget to change the number of games as well

Thanks, I understand that now.

Do I roll back the Birth Year 4 years on the sheet?

And do you want only the changed attributes listed or all the attributes?

Just trying to make sure that what I do will really help, since I love using these rosters myself, wanted to help in some way.

Thanks

What about Players who split the season between two or more teams? How do we calculate the CA? Use the Highest League Played in?

I didn't touch the birth dates, I assume Manimal is changing all the birthday at once. However if the birth date is wrong then put the correction either with the real date or the 4 years later date and put a note about it in the notes section.

Just do the attributes that you've changed. Easier for everyone that way.

That's what I've been doing, whichever league they played the most games in.

Actually speaking of birth dates, by how much are we changing them this year? Two players from Nashville need to be created and I can't remember if I wrote down the right birth dates when I sent in the rosters. The were:

Taylor Aronson - 1991
Anthony Bitetto - 1990

I've got to create a player for Vancouver so I'll make sure to be the right date in.

Top 20 done!

I just finished the top 20 for Carolina. Do I continue with the other notables or just be done right now with the 20 so the rosters can be finished.

Manimal, who do I send the top 20 file to? Plus it is in open office format is that ok?

It is four years
I checked out their real DOB when I created them so no problem
