Wow. Two of the most interesting days any of my EHM teams have had. I never win by this much....and well that other one. Hah! Regina is by #1 team in entire CHL (My team). Brandon is dead last in WHL.

Superstar forward in NHL and bad GM in Finland at same time.

Tappara vs.Kärpät, SM-League final game, series 1-1 (best of 5). Goaltenders Mika Noronen (Tappara) ja Antti Niemi (Kärpät) and what a show.



Luckily my team (Tappara) captain Ville Nieminen took once again place as hero and made winning goal


Usually I watch all my play-off games and this was not exception. So I really enjoy this game when both goalies were hot and game stayed exciting.

btw: both teams play again tomorrow after this match so in real life I guess many players would be quite tired

Yes they are brothers and they have a third one....Sam...who is also playing for the Kootenay Ice in his rookie season this year in real life. He is in the new database. Sam played in the Memorial Cup last year as a 15 year old. They are the children of former NHL all star Paul Reinhart. Max was drafted by Calgary (3rd round 2009), Griffin may be in the first round this year, and Sam is third in rookie scoring in the WHL (the two ahead of him right now are both almost a full 3 years older than he is).

I've played this game for a while now but I have never seen this before

I get it quite often as I occasionally simply let some star players contracts (UFA/RFA) run out for the sake of realism and added difficulty.

I saw arbitration for the first time recently as well.

An RFA defensiveman wanted a raise from $2.4 mil to about $4.6, and frankly, he's not worth it, so I kept offering in the $3.2 ranged, and he kept refusing, eventually filing for arbitration.

Amazing, that 6 years later (and God knows how many in-game seasons) and I'm still finding new things I love about this game.


All I want is a new version of it... I'll pay $200 for it. Seriously lol... make an NHL EHM that is updated like the most recent FM's and I'll gladly pay a ridiculous amount of money for it.

I've had that too. He wanted 6 million and I accepted, because he was pretty much as good a player as they get, and only 24 years old.
