Well, it's only three hours from Instanbul so I think we can squeeze it in right after our Istanbul show and still make it to Rome on time, luckily we had a day off in there ;)

I still think there is one wierd crazy Texan teenager with 25 computers in his house that learned Turkish and programming and he's actually behind about 12000 of the "turkish" Popo players. But I'm suited to flights of fancy as an occupational hazzard so I could be wrong.

It might actually be a Swiss chess club or something ;-)

It is kinda mad that the number of Turks playing the game is so high. Is one of the developers Turkish? I'd have thought there'd be far more North Americans :-?

On another note: I've reached the limit with my current bank account (it's now full to the brim with $9000). Now I'm having to carry nearly $2000 in my wallet. I guess I'll have to wait until I return to NY before getting a larger account. Or could I open one in another country? Would there be any disadvantage to this?

April - I went to you character blog but couldn't find the 'bookmark' button.

As for bank accounts all accounts have different limits. I personally would only trust Plutonium in NYC since it's owned by Justin the mayor of NYC. I have one with them that has I think it's a 50,000 limit. Banks in general tend to often be fronts for Gangazumba type corporations where they bought one bank, gave themselves loans to buy another, etc etc and then bought one of every kind of location all accross Popo. So if you ever see GZC don't buy from them and their banks are NOT safe.

The only issue with carrying around money is if you are in somehwere where law and order is low as is the mood of the "Does" then you might get robbed!

Cy: nice work =D> that'll be very cool for your next song!

Maybe I'd previously bookmarked your blog because that link isn't present when I view your blog :-k

I'm currently with Royal Bank of Popo but will definitely change to Plutonium when I get back to NY at the end of this month.

I think bookmarking blogs might be a VIP only kind of thing. I went to bookmark your blog and didn't see a button like this.

Hmmm... well that's even sillier than there being a list in the first place  And it's not actually a button per se, just a link really that acts as a button since it doesn't lead anywhere... that's me drawing the blue box around it to highlight it... (though I wouldn't put such things actually showing up in game past this "design" crew).

Awesome! I just performed my first 'poor' concert! :joy: I think it's time to get my sax and lead singer skills up to five stars each and see how my concerts go with that :swamped:

Nice Archi! I suggest you start doing the weekend tours with Saturday and Sunday shows like TDG did at first; set them all up at the same time but give yourself time to skill a lot back in NYC between. Do the other 'one hop' cities next two weekends, then play Toronto again and then NY again the next.

Before your TO show book a bit of a longer tour like five big cities... like maybe London (2 shows), Paris, Barcelona (2 shows), Madrid, Porto and fly back for a week or so. You can do 2 in London and Barcelona because they're huge populations. While you're recovering play Toronto and NY on the next couple weekends to keep your US/Canada fame up. Then you can go for a more round-trip type tour like the schedule I posted for the first TBL Tour.

It gets admittedly wierd though because you have to keep planning a few months ahead to keep your bookings going and sell decent ticket amounts, so if you're going to set up a big tour you should do it while just starting your first multi-town tour really. We booked the tour we haven't even started yet about half way through our last tour. It feels like planning your next big meal after you've just eaten too much for dinner  I didn't even want to think about more gigs but now I'm glad I did.

Thanks for the tips  I'll see what I can do with regards to these weekend schedules. The problem is my hectic real-life gets in the way of me regularly checking Popo so it makes arranging tours a bit of a nightmare. I think I'm going to work my way back to Toronto via Paris and London within the next eight days because I know I won't have internet access for a week from a week on Wednesday. England, France and Canada are the places I'm going to concentrate on simply because I have better popularity in those countries.

Just wanted to mention this in case people haven't caught it because it saves TONS of time... if you go to your upcoming shows listing, if you hover over the show locale it will show you in a 'tool tip' how many tickets you've sold. I think this is fairly new... anyhow it saves you from having to click INFO on each show to find out how your sales are going then clicking back to the list, etc. :joy:

-sigh-

I might get ban soon... My brother came on my pc while i was at the toilet and he open a new web page... Connect on his popomundo account and interact with me cause he tried to steal me some money from my bank account and having to person connected on the same computer is illegal...

I sent a message to popomundo to tell them i am sorry and it wont happen again... Let's wish they doesn't ban me...

But, if they suspend of ban my account, can i create a new one?

By the way, i don't know if some of you guys are searching a new band, but my band, The Radikals, are searching a new bassist. The current bassist want to put all is time on learning how to sing so, yah, we're kinda in trouble.

The Radikals are still a young group, but we're really serious and a bit radikal as we're a communist...

No comment on bass players...

Don't forget Halloween is changing this year!! You need to have our mask on AND scare someone via the interaction screen to get your mood boost from now on!

Quick update: I recently became an expert at Basic Composing, time for another skill! Also, Rara Avis' first block of shows are coming up over the course of the next month. Presenting the "Bob Loblaw's Law Blog" tour:

2007-04-13 22:00 Happy Hour club (MR) NY - INFO New York
2007-04-22 12:00 S&S Modern Rock [MEX] - INFO Mexico City
2007-04-28 20:00 Meltdown (MR) - INFO New York
2007-05-21 22:00 Infinity [MR] - INFO London
2007-05-22 14:00 Glass Glow [MR] - INFO Glasgow

So, out of town gigs are required of us to go to the airport and purchase tickets? It'd be sweet if it just took you there automatically like your local jam sessions.

No need for airplane tickets, just get to the road (like NY-Mexico) and wait for a bus to pick you up!

Well, since that only updates daily you might be more like the 5,005th but yeah, it's kinda cool I think.

So Popomundians, get your monster masks as the boost theis year is based on interactions, you get to scare one person an hour via the interactions screen using your mask as an item. Each time you do you get around 10% mood. :joy:

April has dressed up today so check out her outfit 8-) Also now on sale at Punks in the Hall New York is balck and orange ice creams. As usual our icecreams are all at cost price only a buck a piece! I even reworked our locale image just for Popoween. :-D

Never Dies splits in two!

Due to some growing artistical divergences, and a really different level of motivation and dedication to the band, half the members left Never Dies to form another project.

So John Keating, Richard Urban, and John Estrada (me :D ^^) left to form a metal band, actually called Brain-Storm (but this name may change in the near future).

On the other hand, Hamos Herndon, Mark Butterfield, and Tyrone Fulton will continue with Never Dies, with Fulton as band leader, as he was the original one before giving me the job.

In Brain-Storm, guitarist John Keating will also be the lead singer. John Estrada, former Never Dies' bagpiper, will be the bassist, and Richard Urban will stay in his drummer role, just adding a second bass-drum to his drumkit in order to play metal :D

We're really excited about this new project that starts nearly from scratch and are impatient to be on the road, but we need some preparation and some skilling before a first mini-tour in 4-6 weeks.

We'd also like to wish the best to the ones who'll continue with Never Dies. This band rocks and we had some good times with you guys, but we really wanted and needed something else. Good luck, and see ya on the road! ;)

No more Mister Nice Guys. Let's metal up their ars**. The great musical talent of Mrs Estrada and Urban will merge with J.K. energetic and chaotic showmanship. Yup I'm very enthusiastic :D
