Yes, I raised the cap 2,5 million and the budgets, too.
I did not raise the salaries, because then the other raise would have been in vain.
The reason I raised the cap is that so many players were sitting on the sidelines due to them wanting more Money than the teams were willing to give. Hopefully, it will help.
The salaries were calculated to fit the 44 million dollar cap. (Real cap divided by game cap times the real contract)
Entry-level contracts has the same cap IRL as in game.

If this doesn't work well, then I am toying with the idea of deleting all player salaries and letting the game decide for itself.

Thanks for explanation.

Next thing that bugs me, when I want tp play KHL (RSL) with Medvescak I can't because of too many foreginers, but in the same time Lev can play it without any problems despite having all "foreginers" (Czechs, but they count as foreginers in rsl). Is there any solution for that ?

Do the Croatian players count as foreigners?
If not, then that is what you need, more Croatians (add a 2nd nationality to them)

With Minnesota Wild I'm not able to move my players back to the farm teams?! :dunno: It just says that there's no space for them but clearly there is. Any suggestions how to fix this!?

They have 3 farm teams. I created a new save with the Wild. I was able to move 2 guys to Alaska. After this whatever I did there was no space in any of the teams anymore.

Hardcoded stuff. I think the best solution is to add cro second nationality to some more players

I think you should look up the PA of some of the Rangers-prospects (former in one case). I feel like Anthony Duclair, Pavel Buchnevich, Brady Skjei has their PA set too low, i have yet to play a save where either of them becomes good at all and right now in real life they are all really close to being NHL-ready... I would also take another look at Shesteryokin (spelling), Halverson, Ryan Graves and Adam Tambellini who are all solid prospects...

I would assume that the prospects have been quite untouched for a bit since you made the big NHL re-rating recently (which was very good btw ;) so maybe you can check it out, most of the "problems" is with prospects drafted outside the 2nd round that have progressed well...

I hope this doesnt come out as critical since i am very appreciative of the work you guys are putting in and i love the rosters... :notworthy:

Edit: Just found something weird, Jakub Zboril who should go in the 2015 NHL Draft. In a save of mine Detroit has his rights from the start and hes playing in Grand Rapids :o

The prospects will get a look at very shortly. Not only the Rangers, but all leagues.
I don't know how Jakub Zboril ended up with Detroit in your game. He is in junior on the TBL rosters

Okey, great :) I'm not sure either, it said he was drafted by Saint John but suddenly he was in Detroit... Just a bug?

In my list of NHL contracted players I only had Duclair there of the people you've listed. So the other guys hasn't been touched by me at least, or probably no one else either in a long time.
Duclair has a PA of -14 which I think is reasonable. -8 would be the next step which is ok for him also I think. He's probably been unlucky in your save and didn't develop to a good player.

As those are Rangers players, why weren't they on my list I'm wondering?! As I took all NHL contracted players from the DB and edited all of them for the release. :dunno:

They aren't contracted yet :) That's probably why... But Manimal said that you will look at prospects so i bet you will do a good job with that then too :)

Started another save and the Zboril problem was still there, it says hes drafted by Saint John in the 2014 NHL draft, maybe someone missclicked NHL instead of CHL? I'm not sure how it works but give it a look :P

Yup, Zboril had an error on him where it said NHL draft. Changed it to Import draft.

Great work! I'm enjoying the 7.2 database so far.
Question: The 2013-14 season seems to be missing from the NHL history (Stanley Cup winner, runner-up etc). Did I mess up the installation?

Can't be error in installation. I'm not looking in the game now but it sounds like it's missing.

Yeah it's missing. When I last tried adding the league champion histories, it caused a crash in the editor. I couldn't see why because adding histories in the past has worked fine. It may have been caused by an unrelated bug which I have since fixed so I'll see if adding them is now compatible with the editor. We plan to release the next database by the end of this month.

question...

when u guys enter changes into the editor do u guys use 2006 as a date for the 2014 roster of 2014 as the date that they joined... Was moving the AHl and OHL teams around and just wondering what u guys use..

We always use the real life dates (so we'd use 2014 as the date they joined).

Just for completeness: Once we have finished making all of our changes and are ready to make a release, we use the Updater to generate a version that has all dates adjusted to 2006. So we don't actually maintain any 2006 version - we just generate one from the 2014 version as and when required.

do u guys create a team from scratch or just edit the previous team

It's best to create new teams from scratch because the game will crash if certain team names are missing.

Yeah, I saw that. Not too fond of the colours. Plus, it looks too much like the Griffins of the AHL.
They will be edited once we turn the database towards the 2015-16 season
