Duclair got traded to Chicago for Panik. Duclair has some nice offensive skills it will be interesting to see what he can do with guys like Toews, Kane and Anisimov.

Likely salary dump also from Chicago, Panik has too high of a contract for his rather low production this year.

Some people and insiders sense a big trade coming in Chicago (for a D-man ?). Franson to waivers and other moves seem to be the setup for something.

And if it doesn't work in Chicago he will ask to be trade there too. Seems like he has a bit of a character.

Did you guys here that Justin Falk told Evander Kane to "Oates, Lindros &ยค!%!" and everything else in their practice. Because he's so selfish. :-?

They both answered to the media that it was nothing. Just to push the other one forward... as in helping.

EDIT: http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/sabr ... -practice/
Found that link

I'm not really surprised either. Kane seems like a mediocre person all around. :D

Another win for the Avalanches!! :joy:

I hope Danault will be alright. He received Chara's slapshot behind the head and was sent to the hospital. They said it's not as bad as it looks but still, must have hurt alot.

Why do I have the feeling that since MTL is almost always bad they will beat the Avs tomorrow just for the sake of it. That streak most go on!! :joy:

Sooner or later they will lose. Teams has a tendency to lose a winning streak against a "not so good" team.

Bha, they're facing Toronto tonight. I did not see they were playing back to back games. Toronto will be a good challenge.

Atlantic is the weakest of them all. I wouldn't count that much on them. I rely more on MacK and Rantanen. ;)

Jagr put on waivers and will be buy out by the Flames. Seems like it's really the end for him....in the NHL.

Boston's Frank Vatrano to Florida for a 3rd pick.

Good trade for both. Vatrano killed it in AHL 15/16. He has a really awesome shot and hands.

Montreal is a mess, and now they've got to deal with thoose injuries.. x)

Yzerman saying he won't push for trades at the deadline, I was kinda hoping a blockbuster with Karlsson, but it was highly unrealistic (Dorion wants to shed Ryan's salary along with a Karlsson trade, apparently).

Yeah...he'll get no where with that. Not alot of teams can take both, except if in return they dump a huge salary too.
