EHM The Blue Line

If anyone wants to help I could use a few things:

1) A logo
2) Help updating histories for things, thanks to ESHMfan01 for helping with club histories! This can include club, award and player histories. Even just getting me 2017-18 data would be a help!
3) Help creating mass-imports of players drafted by various leagues (I'd like to load players into the DB from the NAHL, USHL, and Canadian Major Junior drafts).

Still on track for a release for July, will be functional but not complete, will be usable as a holdover DB and allow you to have some fun for free agency.

Picked up EHM on the Steam summer sale and looking forward to this update before starting my first game

Going through final rounds of testing now, if all goes well we will have a release later tonight.....hope Tavares signs somewhere by then!

xECK29x do you have discord by any chance? I wouldn't mind helping out with what you are doing here - also have some issues with the USHL crashing before I can get in game - are these known issues?

I do, same handle on there @xECK29x. The USHL is known to have issues if you are trying to manage a team, I believe this is a bug in the game itself but would love to see what is going on.

Got a weird error message during testing, I believe it's a fluke thing as I haven't seen this before, will run some more test sims before a release, so likely will release tomorrow morning unless a major issue is happening.

Shucks, I was excited to start a new save tonight!

I'm guessing that may have something to do with future transfers. Maybe double-check those (specifically, ones you've messed with since the last release)?

Also, what work still needs to be done that can be farmed out? I'd love to contribute to this project if I can, but I'm only really familiar with the NHL.

IIRC I've seen that in other saves as well and it doesn't cause an issue

Yea, didn't cause any issues with the sim but it's an annoyance to the user, I had a LOT of leagues selected on Enhanced so I am trying a 5 year sim with just the NHL to see if it reappears.

Thanks man! Hit me up at xeck29x@gmail.com. I could use a lot of help with just some manual work like career and club histories. Those spreadsheets can take some time to build but it really adds so much detail.

I got som error messages about the Russian league, when i tried to load a new game.

Could be due to the realignment I did, haven't tested that league yet. Can you post a screen shot? With me now posting these to Steam it's much easier for me to "patch" an issue.

Haven't ever used these before (I don't think), though who knows, I burn through games when I play and I lose track of DB's.

So I started a game last night before I went to bed, wake up this morning, and find you'd already updated the DB again. You monster. Guess I'll restart my game...

Couple things about the Tampa Bay Lightning:
-There are two scouts named Mikael Andersson under contract - the 52-year-old one is correct
-Mike Angelidis retired and is no longer with the HC Bolanzo Foxes in the EBEL. He's joined the Tampa Bay Lightning scouting staff.

I just started a game with your DB and for Toronto Maple Leafs, the affiliates are Toronto Marlies (AHL) and Orlando Solar bears (ECHL). Seems the bears loves Florida too much to move to Newfoundland

I was subscribed to version 2.4 of your DB. Subscribed to 3.0 and all is ok now. Time to get the Cup to Toronto!

I have the 3.0 from Steam, i also tried to re-subscribe still the same errors. Strange if only i get a database error, when it works for others.

Ahhh! I see the issue. Hold on I'll patch it into Steam now.

Fixed both that issue and the Lightning scouts to the Steam version.
