Whoa! Triple OT

Has anyone ever managed to get into a fourth or fifth period of OT?

Sorry, my bad! I guess I'm not as good at maths as I used to be!

Batdad - I'll have to go look for that one

Not sure if anyone has ever seen somebody get a 1 avr before or not, but, I haven't. And it's Luongo of all people! Image

He allowed 7 goals on 28 shots. IN THE PLAYOFFS!

A 1 rating??? I have to say I haven't seen that before. I've had a few 3s....

And Luongo... darn.

I'd rather be interested in the question why Calgary only dressed 15 skaters for a playoff game :D

...and why he wasn't pulled at some point. ;)

He was pulled, first couple of minutes into the third. And in the league the guy who GM's the Flames rolls three lines.

Are you sure he was pulled?

Brent Krahn, the back-up keeper, appears to remain grayed-out with no rating. :-k

Not that it matters... Luongo still pooped-out big time.

I'm sure he should have a rating if he played :-?

He was a pretty good prospect too.

I called hm up to fill in for an injury. The guy recovered so I sent him down. The next day he went AWOL.

I totally agree. However, that's the only playoff game Krahn got in on with an 8 rating.

I don't have a screenshot of this since I am on my work computer but last night I drafted a RW/LW by the name of Dick Large in the 1st round. I found that kinda humorous.....I hope he comes up big for me ;)

I've had a goaltender with a 1 rating before, it was the World Championship, Team Canada (me) versus Hungary. The poor guy let in about 5 goals in 5 shots in about 3 minutes. No wonder, his conditioning before the game was below 50%, God knows why he was dressed.

Team Hungary wasn't even THAT weak, I mean, the backup held the fort for the rest of the game and I remenber it finished in a single digit score.

Yeah, in one of the leagues, everybody got to create a player.

That "thrilled by the turn of fortunes" happens quite often, actually, after you stop a losing (or winless) streak.

And maybe that "shot-less" goal scored was an own-goal or something... :dunno:

I guess I don't go on that many losing streaks :joy:. I think the shot-less goal was a breakaway that he lost the handle on and it slid in anyways.
