I don't get it... you're saying that... what exactly are you saying?

It's hard to explain, would be much if could show you in some way. The database folder is in C:/program/..../.../data/database/Joehelmer update. It's chooseable in the game, but the changes I've done with the db, doesn't work in the game. I've updated the Swedish rosters up to date. But when I choose the db and start a new game, there is no changes. Like I had moved Johan Ryno to Djurgården, where he's playing now, but when I go and check the Djurgården roster, he's not there. Even though I started a game with my db where he according to the editor should be playing in Djurgården.
Sorry for my bad explanations, but I'm very tired and just got a cold, so I'm not think straight...

But why did you take a screenshot of your C-root?
You might want to try the SI Forums. Mne2 (the creator of the editor) has a thread about the editor there, and he comes by every now and then to answer questions.

I took it just to show you that there is no folder called "Program files" like the editor says it does..

Ah, I get it now... Very weird indeed.
You might want to try to load the database and then save it somewhere else, where a path already exists on your puter, and then move it to the correct location...
Umm...
Is your game then installed to this program files\ and blah... location?

No it's installed in C:/program/ so I don't know where the editor got C:/program files/ from.

Load the database, and then save it (file --> save as) to EHM\data\database\Joehelmers update.

I can just save using the "save" not "save as".

Yah, same here. Must be one of those features that will come later - if they come.
Anyways. If you can't find the file on your computer it would seem like you have to start over. This time, before you start make sure you have the correct path on the editor.
Must be a bug of some sorts.

You haven't done anything with the extra_config file at all?

Try to re-install editor. Or move you'r db in different location.. like in destkop.. or just C:\joe helmer update. And check database for errors. Oh.. and what version of the editor u use?

Quick question: Is the "One-on-Ones" attribute in the editor a offensive attribute only, or does it also apply to the defensive player?
What I mean is, if a defender has to take down a forward on a one-on-one situation, would this attribute effect their ability to do so?
Also... does the Deflections-attribute also mean deflecting an opposing team's pass from reaching it's destination if it happens to pass by a defensive player?

I was just wondering that too yesterday when I was editing some players.
Pre-Game Editor doesn't change anything

I've used EHM for long enough, I know how the editor works and it has never been a problem. I fired it up for the first time on my laptop today (may also be the first time on 3.0.4), and I'm having a problem.
I wanted to edit player names. So I edited them, saved my database and loaded them in the game (I use 3.0.4 and load it using the in-game icon to change database). Up until then, there was no problem. When the game was finished created, none of the changes I had done with the editor were showing. Also, whenever I move the database to another folder and open it with the pre-game editor, all changes I made are lost.
I also just noticed that the opening screen in the editor is still showing deleted databases as if they were still there. I tried reinstalling both the editor and the game but to no avail.
Anyone know what's up with that?
ADMIN NOTE: We already have a thread on this topic so I'm going to merge it into it - Archi

You may want to check the Editor thread at SI Forums or EastsideUK for that sort of technical questions. Mne2 - the creator of the editor - frequents in the first and owns the other.
Oh... and as for the One-on-ones question I had earlier Lazion told me at EHM Finland, that this attribute would infact affect
only the goalie, not the defensive or the offensive skater at all.
Just makes me wonder, why it wasn't placed into the Netminder attributes box?

Well.. it's hidden attribute like constintency and fighting.. I think.

Ah. Makes sense. Good deal.

Brazilian Men's National Team??

I'm not sure how I did it but... after creating a couple of "fake leagues" in Brazil (Superleague, Second Division and Juniors) I loaded up the game and found the Brazilian National Team listed under South America. I've tried to recreate this by actually adding the real Mongolian outdoor league but no matter how much detail I put into Mongolia, it's league and it's players, it won't appear in EHM2007 when I look under Asia in the National Team tab.
Anyone know how I did this -- I'd like to recreate it with several other counties, if possible.

Anyone else having problems re-naming teams in the WHL or OHL? I've successfully renamed every team in the NHL, AHL, ECHL and QMJHL without any bugs (sometimes I had to re-name a non-used team to a real-life team name in order to get past the index error), but after doing the same to the WHL and OHL, the database is now corrupt whenever I start a game with the CHL at enhanced.
