They don't. I've started a new game with roster updates and there's currently nobody in the HOF
Sim a day and you'll see a few guys get added, such as Mark Messier
Ya, with your roster update right? I saw that, cool. The SS is of a game I started over two years ago

again...EHM hall of fame...not hockey hall of fame. Only in game players who are playing or retire at time of game start up are in the games hall of fame.

Game 7 of the OHL 1st round playoffs (2009)
I have a dynamite first line after a bad season allowing me to draft Tyler Seguin 3rd overall behind Devante S-P. I managed to get Mikkel Bodker from another team that apparently hadn't been able to sign him or hadn't.
Hodgson had 58 goals in 60 games with 109 total points in probably his last year in Brampton. He'll probably make it through Philly's NHL camp next season.
In this game Brampton got down early with bad penalties and momentum. After playing a trap game and getting a little unlucky with the goals against, I overloaded my first line on the ice offensively in a desperate attempt to tie the game. It worked, barely. This would have been one of the greatest games 7s ever played, imo, if it was real.
Hodgson, Bodker, and Seguin basically took over this game. You can see that the Major's line up is stacked with great players too -- Loktionov, De Haan, Kassian, Grundmanis, Campbell... tough first round opponent.

My starting goalie was out with a broken femur or something. I have two "greyed-out" temporary goalies.

Crazy stuff.
Ovechkin Regen will be slotting in one point above Malkin when he retires.

Yeah, it's probably one of the highly randomized prospects Lidas and I went on creating for (mostly) small hockey countries so that they also got a chance to get a star player.

Hey guys, new to this part of the forum. Not sure if you guys think this is cool, but i thought so. So, it was the first game of the second season with Jokerit in Finnish SM-League, and my pre-season has been kinda hard, lost few players to NHL and minor junior leagues. Games didn't go so well, and just until season started i found this guy David Spina through try-out. Was really worried about how first game would go since 4 of my players are in NHL in training camp, but it was probably the best game i've ever had in this game. 12-0, pretty good huh

. Then i realized that one of my basic defenders had +/- 9, and started laughing. Sorry for the rant by the way...

No screenie, but I'm playing a game in the NHL using the latest rosters and Steve Yzerman seems to be collecting centers like Pokemon. He has Stamkos and Lecavalier of course, he also somehow got Tavares (!!!), and now he just traded for Backes (!!!!!!!).
Best part is, he's collecting D too (he also got De Haan and Hamonic from NYI to play with Hedman and Brewer, and Ohlund).... but the team's wingers are a mess/laughable, and the only good one (St. Louis) is injured. So yeah... I'm sure those C's love looking to their sides and seeing Mattias Weinhandl, Frazer McLaren, Branko Radivoijevic, Brian Bickell, etc, on their wings...
I've never seen anything like this. Usually the AI goes the *other* way in caring a little too much about positioning and having enough of everything. In this case, he seems to want to make a forward corps of nothing but C's though.

Blues have traded for a completely D line up around deadline two seasons in a row. They always seem to dive in the standings after that and don't get far in the play off's.

Really cool! With players like that Croatia could upset some teams.

wow.
Probably should have anticipated that a bit better considering they won the cup last year with essentially the same team. Wonder why they're struggling so much.

Just had this happen in my game playing as the Minnesota Wild (Lidas 4.1). This was playoff game 3 vs. Canucks...we won game one 2-1, lost 4-1, and then this...
I think when you have that kind of lead after the first, you can go ahead and head home early. We only made 35 shots, Luongo was pulled after goal #3 (on our 4th shot), Lack was equally terrible in place. We were 1 for 5 on the PP, yes, 8 goals scored on even strength. Canucks were the 5th seed, we were 6th coming into the playoffs, tying in the regular season with 47-29-6 records, and we had more GF, fewer GA, but Canucks won the series 4-3-1 during the season (despite us outscoring them). We have been on fire in the playoffs suddenly, this game making us 6-1 in the playoffs (we swept #3 San Jose). None of the three stars were first liners, instead they were 3rd liners Lance Bouma (2G 1A, 1st Star), P. Gaustad (1G 2A) and Andreas Thuresson (1G 1A, 3rd Star), and 4th liner John Tripp (1G 2A, 2nd Star). T. Gilbert, S. Eminger, G. Latendresse, M. Granlund, and M. Koivu each had 2 points as well. Only Kampfer, Timonen, Boynton, and Hollweg were kept off the scoresheet.

Chris Pronger, at 42, gets chosen for the AHL All-Star game without having played a single game! What a beast!

My Bridgeport team is steamrolling the AHL with a 32-0 record. (Thank you Red_Playm0ver Tactic!) Anyway i wanted to share this blowout game I just had against Lowell. This game featured a full scale 6x6 linebrawl as well, hence my goalie Jason Sikora (Hasek Regen) getting thrown out. Also my Cam Neely regen Karl Whitfield was injured in period one. He has 65 points in 32 games at the moment. Hopefully he isn't out long. Im using Lidas 3.1 and Ryan Strome's 6 points is a career high. (He's terrible in this database) Check out all those 10 ratings!
