In one season? I managed a goon team in the UHL and the tops I got was 1176. My entire team approached 10,000 for the season though

How was the rest of your team? It actually might be easier to get more with just one or two guys as opposed to a whole team of goons I guess... maybe I should revisit this at the NHL level or something.

Looked at his injury history, and the sprained wrist is recurring. But still, a funny way to lose a starting goalie in november.

LOL. Did he ever play for the Flyers? Because we all know Flyer goalies do a lot of things with their wrists, and not one of them is stopping a puck. Next you will see is that Proskuryakov had to retire because he went blind.

This one tickled me. I'm biding my time as the GM of Medicine Hat until the inevitable happens and an NHL team scoops up the Blazers GM who has insane stats and has no contract. first game of the season and I find myself in a deep hole. I pulled my goalie with 2 minutes left and this was the result:



I ended up winning the game in overtime Bonus: Immediately after this game I traded for Gorrie, got him easily and cheaply and he has been a star for me so far; my highest rated player, first in goals, assists, points, shots on goal and hits given(!) plus I locked him in for two more years so I'm laughing. If/when the Blazers job opens up he's one of two guys coming with me for sure, the other being 15 year old RW Federick Hull who is going to be a big time player in the WHL and the NHL if all goes well.

First time I've ever lost anyone due to inflammation. Worst part is he's a first liner and a pretty good play maker.

Fairly common occurence. And in real life...when you really get it...it really hurts. ALOT. Burn burn

I've drafted something like 5 Chara regens playing this game, in the 1979 database I had Paul Coffey and Slava Fetisov partnered up, and I've never had a d-man in the AHL get these numbers. This is a recent Manimal update, this player has not been modified in any way.

The guy in the last post about junior I made, the one that needed a Leave of Absence, did that ALOT once he turned pro, It happened like 4 times

He was supposed to be, played in the AHL for a bit, got chewed out by his GM, got released, signed in europe

It's crazy that he's been suspended 4 times for violent behavior!! His aggression is really low...

I wondered why my players went tired despite resting. Then I saw the schedule that I didn't realize earlier, and I don't like it.

The game hates me at the moment as I can't set my HC to do the training as he puts almost everyone to resting, and I fired my former coach as I hoped it would fix it.
My team has so far let in 25(!) SH goals, with the second worst team at only 7 while only scoring two themselves. My special teams are brutal and both my goalies are slumping bad. I'm usually bad in all those areas as I've never learnt to coach them, but this is over the top.
