According to my agent, that's what I get.

He gets 10%, so I'm pretty sure he made sure there was a Free Beer Clause.

What is 10% out of "free", well that's for the lawyers to decide. :-D

The Next Generation has got their first invitation, and it's for a concert in Istanbul at Valentine's Day. The problem now is how we shall afford the tickets there. Maybe I should move my and my brother's character to some place in Europe, either Stockholm or Helsinki to make some money.

Or you should just turn off the unwanted invitations and build a touring schedule by your own :D

And there's another city in the game, with Bucarest... Good to see another city, but i wonder when we'll be able to complete our world tour... As soon as we play in a new city, another one raises

Be careful! They're very picky about people logging into others people's accounts lately. You could lose the characters if you get caught.

To be honest with you... I wouldn't go and do the Istanbul show. Your band is just starting out. The show probably won't help you any. I'd suggest you work on your songs, jamming, and do some shows locally first. Then branch out from there.

So do they track that by ip or what since both me and roommate use same computer to play popo as well as do other things.

I think they might do it by IP. It sounds like they haven't noticed you though, so I guess you're in the clear.

Oh, and in Popo I finally went and got my divorce. I had to drop that crazy woman like a bad habit!

Okay, then I maybe should drop that character from the band as well. Our new base is in Helsinki, and we have a couple of upcoming shows in Stockholm, Tromsö and Tallinn and in Helsinki as well. So Thunderbug, if you have enough money you can come over here. ;)

B72: Is there any achievement points for being divorced? :D

Anyhow, nice to know that you're free from your chains ;)

I would definitely be careful of multiple members of the same band sharing IPs!

No, unfortunately, I don't think there are any achievement points for a divorce. I haven't seen anything at least. The sanity is nice though! Plus, I think I got off easy since Popo hasn't implemented divorce settlements (woman getting half your stuff) or alimony. She gets nothing... and I'm rich!

you can add your popo name on here under the prefences. Also you may be able to talk to Minty/April about a job I'm not sure if they are still hooking people up with a starting job.

I'm planning on releasing an album with eight songs on it. Does the success of the album rely on the combination of the songs' popularity and quality or is it more dependant on one song, as is the case with singles?

I think it's a combination of them all. You don't want one good song and a bunch of junk. I'd try for a balance. If it's your first album, don't worry about there being a couple of stinkers though. One thing that make a difference in album sales is your fame in various cities. You want your fame to be high in the higher population cities. That will be a big factor in your sales. Of course, this is mostly just me talking. I can't say for sure. I'd ask Minty/April in-game for more solid info.

also your fame in a country must reach a certain floor for the CD to even be able to sell in that country. What it is i'm not sure, probably have to ask someone. Also did you have a 5 star record producer either in the band or at the studio at the record time?

also, why is it, the popo code on here puts the first and last name in the first name search bar?

The minimum fame in a city to sale a single/album is at 4/26 ;)

As for the albums, the quality of the songs is obviously important, but such is their popularity, ie no song "in the red" ;)

couldn't remember, pfft you kids and your /26 stuff back when i played (before i got bored and stopped) we didn't have numbers just names (poor, above average etc.)

don't forget your mood and health when recording the songs (lower they were, worse recording quality)

There has always been both names and numbers ;) But people don't all play in English, so the numbers are a better info on a board where you've got people from so many different countries and languages IMO.

Plus, i just didn't remember the name that corresponds to 4/26 and was too lazy to check :D

Oh and i btw, i don't really enjoy being called "kid" at nearly 26... No offense though ;)

I think my character is 28. That's still younger that I am in real life though, so it's all good! :-D

My character is 26, I remember when I started to play and he was 19. :D
He is 6 years older than me.

I plan on releasing my album once I've finished the second leg of my European tour. Currently I have fame in seven countries above 4. Hopefully I should be able to add a further three countries to that list in about a week's time.

I have five stars in Record Production so that's no problem. As for the songs I'm putting on my album, I'm putting my most popular as well as a new song.
