No, because the game will crash if certain team names do not exist in the database.

The Flyers should have their own first round pick in 2015 as well as Tampa Bays first round pick in 2015. They have neither right now.

Ouch, that really makes the challenge harder and also less fun seeing as the 2015 draft is a really cool draft
TBL has Phillys 1st, their own 1st and their own 3rd, all of which should belong to Philly (Coburn trade).

EHM:EA's rosters have Greg Pateryn as a left-handed LD. He should be a right-handed RD. That being said, thanks for the roster update

Human error. Sorry

Thanks. I'll edit him
BulldogsFan wrote:Do u guys use the ehm pre game editor to change stuff for ehm ea?
The EHM:EA database can't be edited, so we are using an EHM07 version of the db and then importing it/making it EHM:EA.
Some work is done with the pre-game editor and some with the EHM Updater

Somebody on Twitter of Facebook mentioned that Ovechkin's positions are the wrong way round (i.e. he should be LW/RW rather than RW/LW). I don't know how accurate this is, but I'm posting it here for those with better knowledge.

I saw that somewhere too. It is not a big deal as he is 19 LW and 20 RW in the db. Perfectly capable of playing either side.
I have edited him to a LW/RW for next update

Mika Oksa retired in 2012. Warkis just signed him in my game.

Ovi played RW last season. That's why I made him RW. But right now he has been playing LW again. And I edited players position half year ago.

Mike Babcocks preferred tactics should not be a direct attacking style of play.
I dont know what the options are but he much prefers a defensive slog/grinder of a match.
Others from a Red Wings Perspective.
I would suggest Teemu Pulkkinens slapshot is underrated. only a 13 in game, its probably more of an 17-18 (

Both Babcock and Pulkkinen will be slightly altered for next release

I know this isn't that big of a deal for most people but for my own peace of mind, here are some changes for Västerviks IK (Swedish First Division).
Players to add:
Daniel Wälitalo, G from Tegs SK
Richard Dahl, LD from IK Pantern
Erik Gustafsson, LD/RD from Borlänge HF
Filiph Engsund, C from Borlänge HF
Emil Georgsson, C from Vimmerby HC
Pierre Gustavsson, LW from Vimmerby HC
Dan Pettersson, C from Olofströms IK
Players to remove (All these have retired if nothing else noted, at least as far as I know):
Christian Andersson, G
Reid Ellingson, G
Karl-Petter Pettersson, G
Emil Ekblad, LD/RD
Alexander Johansson, LD/LW/RD
Jonas Lennartsson, LD/RD
Andreas Lind, LD
John Henriksson, RD/LD (Now at Ljungby HK that doesn't exist in the game)
Jonas Knutsson, RD/LD, to Åkers/Strängnäs HC
Ola Svanberg, RD, to IK Guts
Chris Davis, LW/RW
Ragnar Karlsson, LW/RW (Now assistant coach at Västervik)
Thomas Jason Guidarelli, C
Kristian Westerman, RW
Tyler Johnson, C (Retired as far as I know. In my save, though, he's been picked up by Luleå in the SHL, centering thier first line and is second on the team in points. Should be removed and if not have his stats lowered by...like...alot)
Marek Kalus, LW, to Comarch Cracovia Krakow
That's what can be done to Västervik with the players/staff currently in game.

Thanks!
It seems Johnson got some value from his namesake of the Tampa Bay Lightning at some time.
If you fancy doing more work on Hockeyettan, then drop me a PM and we can talk

And Marchenko shoots right.
Still the accuracy for eight years worth of updating is astounding, thanks for the great work!

Brock Trotter (Dinamo Riga, KHL) is ridiculously bad, looks like something went wrong there, also his history is missing.
Edit: Also Martins Porejs from Dinamo Riga looks suspiciously bad.

Not sure if this was mentioned, but Tom Renney is no longer an assistant coach with the Detroit Red Wings and Joe McDonnell is no longer a scout with the Wings, he is with the Dallas Stars.

What side does he play?

KHL.players are not fully rated. Being worked on

So if I've understood correctly the new Early Access version doesn't include licences and requires the TBL Rosters to be unfaked? If so, are there rosters available that would be correct from the start of the season, instead of being based on the trade deadline?

Our rosters version 7.0 is from beginning of the season.
Much has chnged since then with the ratings of the players so I don't think it works too well with EHM:EA
