You're saying me you have acquired Devils players as your stars? To produce? To score goals and such? It sounds even more insane than my attempt to get B. Johnson to make a save or two

They were keepers from last year when they were good(Kovalchuk and Brodeur). This season I would not trade for them

2010-11 Trade Updates
TRADE #1 (THE HILLER DEAL)
Philadelphia FHC Trades Jonas Hiller and Cam Barker to Corinthians for Niklas Kronwall and Antii Niemi
CAnnot really analyze who is winning this deal, as Philly has since dropped Niemi and Corinthians has since dropped Barker. This deal depends on team needs only. Hiller was needed for Red Army in net, and Kronwall on D for Philly.
TRADE #2 Oct 26-Black Ice and Sun Bears. (THE CARTER DEAL)
Jeff Carter and Stephane Robidas make there way to the Ice and to the Sun Bears go Michael Ryder and Mikko Koivu.
Since the trade...totals for the players for each team--Oct 26-Nov 28
Black Ice--10G 14A +7 35PIM 9PPP 0SHP 3GWG 92 SOG 31 Blocks
Sun Bears-4G 10A -4 12PIM 6PPP 0SHP 1GWG 48 SOG 10 Blocks
TRADE #3 Nov 20 (THE IGINLA DEAL) Nov 20-Nov 28 stats
Jarome Iginla, Brad Boyes and Petr Budaj become members of Concussion Junction
Michal Samuelsson, David Booth and Steve Mason become members of Black ICE
Stats since the trade
Black Ice- 3G 3A +1 6PIM 1PPP 0 SHP 0GWG 27 SOG 2Blocks 1W 95 SA 178 Min
Junction-- 3g 4a +4 4PIM 2PPP 0SHP 0GWG 29 SOG 2Blocks 1W 49SA 119 Min
So right now...Junction is winning the deal in 4 categories, and Black Ice in 3. 5 are tied. It is real close in all categories, 1 assist separation, 2PIM separation, 1PPP, 2 shots...and 1 game in net basically.
Trade is pretty much a dead heat after 8 days.

Hey archi...please have a look at your trade offers. I think you and I can work something out to help you and help me.

I'm too happy with my teams performance to make trades!

Well that Carter deal will be hard to analyze now that I traded Robidas again.
But turning Robidas into the NHL's 2nd top shot blocker in Giordano, and Moulson into anything but a negative 20 plus/minus guy makes me happy. Krejci makes me happy. Anyone want him?

Why bother to make an offer when you're not answering them at all?

Odd...I know of only one trade offer I got that I did not respond to in some way. And that was Concussion Junction originally when I started working on getting Giordano. I was out of town, and got back to that deal today and completed it.
I know with the Iggy trade negotiations I had 13 or 14 possibles on the page at one time, so I may have accidentally kicked one or two out. Nothing intentional. I just made offers to every team (except maybe Marsac or someone else) for Iggy, so as not to leave anyone out of the chance to get him.
Trust me, if I did not respond to a trade offer it was just a fluke. I find trading to be the best part of fantasy hockey and even when the offer is nuts in my mind at the time, I try to make some comment back on what we can work on.
I love working on deals...so try me again if you want someone from me. But I don't deal easily, I work hard at them...and I don't give up Carter, Luongo, Marleau etc unless it is a real good deal for me in my mind.
Iggy deal gives me more flexibility and is why I made the deal for 2 shooters coming back...I gave up one shooter a guy who will be a backup again soon (if not already) and Boyes in that deal to get a starter and two shooters.
I am looking at moving Krecji or Boyle..what I would want in return is a LW. I would consider moving a dman and one of my LW as part of a package as well to make the trade balance out positionally.

Whoops..now I See one. I was working out of town all weekend and did not see that offer Kuulapaa. I will go back and see what we can work out. Of course I don't have 2 of the guys in that offer anymore...but we shall see. My apologies I totally never even saw that one, nor an email.

I don't have alot of time for FH right now so I appologise if I fail to respond to a trade offer. My only issue right now is that my goalies aren't facing enough shots but I'm still winning all of my matchups so I'm not in a rush to make any trades. Much like in EHM my favourite part is drafting/development and so far I seem to have done well enough in that part of the game.

LA Bald Uakaris are in total slump, the whole team has stopped scoring, No.2 goalie picked up an injury again and now also Chris Stewart, our top line right winger broke his hand in a fight. WHA...!?! He should leave fighting to other guys and stay focused on scoring goals! Well, now he can't do either of them for couple of weeks...
Goalies have been our biggest problem whole season: by picking Anderson to our second goalie I put my money on the wrong horse, he has been injured most of the season so far. And in my books he wasn't one of those injury prone guys, not before this.
Our defense has been pretty quiet except for blocking shots. I was (and still am) waiting some points especially from Ehrhoff and Weber (and maybe from Bogosian too), but no-oope, they have probably concentrated on defending... which is good, usually. But not now.
And the offense. Phew. We lost Oshie for an injury, Blues started to struggle so there went also Steen's production, slow starting Toews is having extra slow start for this season, Ovechkin can't score goals and the rest of the bunch are short of surprises too.
But because there is no-one to pick from FA to help the team I'm going to sit down and bite my knuckles until my guys can score again. Hope it will happen sooner rather than later but if not, merry xmas everybody!

I tried to set up a deal including Khabibulin and Brodeur. Both are on IR and therefore the game engine wants me to conditionally drop one of my goalies. Same condition would be after the trade is accepted on other team's side, I guess.
Why isn't it possible to trade players straight from IR to IR? I know the answer, I'm just complaining.
Anyway, I don't know whether Manimal would accept it.

Straight up? No friggin' way!
I am currently riding a five-game-winning streak so it would have to be something really good for me to make a trade.

Trade update. Just doing the most recent one today, will do others every couple of weeks or so.
Trade #4 Nov 29 Prague Dead Parrots-Burnaby Black ICE (THE ROBIDAS IS SILLINGER DEAL)
Mark Giordano and David Krecji make their way to the Burnaby Black ICE in exchange for the now oft travelled Stephane Robidas and Matt Moulson heading to the Parrots. Parrots wanted a goal scorer, ICE wanted an all round dman, and hate Matt Moulson,
1 week stats
Mark Giordano 1g-3a-+1-10PIM-1PP-0SH-0GW-8sh-9BS
David Krecji 2g-2a-+6-2PIM-0PP-0SH-0GW-8sh-1BS
TOTAL 3g-3a-+7-12PIM--1PP-0SHP-0GW16sh-10BS
Stephane Robidas 1-0- -1-0-1PP-0sh-1gw-3sh-3bs
Matt Moulson 1-0-E-2PIM-0PP-0--0-11sh-2BS
TOTAL 2g-0A- -1-2PIM-1PP-0SHP-1GW-14SH-5BS
So after one week
Black ICE lead 6-1-2, due to one big game from Krecji and Giordano being a BEAST all week. Robidas and Moulson will still have lots to offer though.

Yeah I know that Krejci is getting hot now. But I think he will slow a bit as he's going to share ice time with Savard. We'll see...
Right know I must concentrate on beating Newbies this week and brake their ugly record

Dammit. I can't imagine how Marsac Newbies can be beaten. I played quite close matchup with them but it just wasn't enough.
When you look at
ESPN Player Rater, MARS team has 4 players in the top 10 (Crosby, Perry, Sharp, Bufy). So why am I be surprised?
I cheer for any team that can win over Martians from MARS

Hopefully in playoffs

Nice close battle with the Boars, the stats was more exciting to watch than the Oilers - Vancouver game itself (Nucks are effective but waay boring).
At least I broke their 6 game win streak with the Tie!
I think I sit on a 2-1-1 record now but I got more overachievers than underachievers so it will probably change to the worse.
I basically only got streaky players so I have to find the eventual hot ones the whole time. Why did little start to perform after I let him go?

Marsac attended the draft...I assure you had I attended it he would not be so high. However, he does have a couple of surprise players...Byfuglien that have WELL exceeded anyone's expectations and he drafted very well for what has happened SO FAR this season. However, when I play him in January I EXPECT to exact some revenge for last season, when he did to me in the final what you are hoping someone does to him this season. That person, will be me!!
Trade update...
THE CARTER DEAL made Oct 26 (Robidas was traded for Giordano Nov 29, so now Giordano numbers have to be included in my side of the deal)
Black ICE
12g-24a-+11-49PIM-11PPP-0SHP-
3GWG-131SH-50BL
Sun Bears 8g--18a--E---18PIM-9PPP--
1SHP-2GWG--78SH--14BL
As you can see is still a landslide. However in the last two weeks Sun Bears have made some inroads in a few categories. They have gained 2 goals, were even in plus minus with me, have 1 more PPP, SHP and GWG and were close in shots (39-30). So things have been looking up for them and their side of the deal.
THE IGINLA DEAL
Black ICE 6g-7a--+4-
12PIM-3PPP-0SHP-0GWG-63SH-4BL-
2W-162SA-318MIN
Junction--
7g-10a-+4-6PIM--
6PPP-0SHP-0GWG-
75SH-7BL-1W-82SA--177MIN
So from this deal you can see things are still tight. Black ICE is winning the goalie portion in all 3 categories, Junction is winning most player categories. The score right now if we keep it
Black Ice 4-5-3
Junction 5-4-3
1 goal separates the two teams and a few assists. This is a close tight deal.
Finally...
the Robidas is Sillinger dealPrague Dead Parrots/Burnaby Black ICE..2 weeks in. Robidas/Moulson for Giordano/Krejci
Black ICE 3g-
10A-+9-16PIM-3PPP-0SHP-0GWG-
28SH-16BL
D Parrots 3g-1A-- -8-12PIM-2PPP-oSHP-
1GWG-20SH-13BL
Close trade again in many categories, but Black ICE hammering Parrots in assists and plus minus. The two things the ICE owner was looking for.
Keeping score on this one..
Black ICe 6-1-2 (no goalie stats)
D Parrots 1-6-2 but several of the categories are very tight.

You played him already in the first matchup and.... 5-5-2. Tie-breaker was 14 your goals against 27(!) Marsac's ones.

You were close to win too.
I'd rather some team from lower standing beat him. Boston Irish or Chicago Sun Bears would be fine

Jan 2 could be a VERY BIG DAY for Archi or for Joe. One of them may actually get their first win of the season that day.
Hint: They play each other!!!

Too bad for them that they play against each other only once this season. So they can't finish the season with more than one win
