Andrew Raycroft?
I think Getz knows who won the Calder trophy in 03-04. He was just ironic. :-D
Ok :-D

Calder--Howard will not win it. Prejudiced against old rookies.
Rask--Won't win it although will get consideration.

The Calder will go to one of two guys Tyler Myers (who should win it) or Matt Duchene (who I thought should win it in December). Myers has got stronger as the year has gone on, at a position no 19 year old should be able to play so well. Duchene had a drop off, but lately seems to be coming back a bit.

1. Myers 2. Duchene 3 (distant) Rask

Sounds reasonable.

The Oilers have a draft lottery simulation. You can run it as much as you like. Just keep refreshing for a different result.

http://oilers.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=61882

The scary thing is, I've run it maybe 6 or 7 times and I've seen Tampa win the lottery most often. I might have to do a larger sample and see what I come up with.

The Bruins have been winning that lottery quite alot for me.

Selanne also nominated for the Masterton Trophy.

Clicked on your link and the first team to win the lottery was Tampa. :ha!:

I ran the lottery 10 times and here's how the winner was spread for me:

Winner
Dallas Stars 1
Edmonton Oilers 2
Tampa Bay Lightning 2
New York Islanders 1
New York Rangers 1
Boston Bruins 1
Columbus Blue Jacket 2

He has won it already and you can only win it once so what's the point nominating him again.

For real? I didn't know that. If it's true that's really weird from the Ducks.

So I ran the lottery 100 times and plugged the winner into a spreadsheet each time. Here are my results...

TEAM WIN PROJECTED
EDM 28 25
BOS 15 18.8
FLA 14 10.7
CBJ 13 8.1
TB 12 14.2
NYI 4 4.7
ANA 4 1.1
CAR 3 6.2
STL 2 0.8
DAL 2 2.1
PHO 1 0.5
MIN 1 2.7
ATL 1 3.6
NYR 0 1.5

The first number was the number of times they won lottery, out of 100 times (which would also translate to the same percentage. ie 28 wins is 28%). Thesecond number is the percentage the team is given to win by the way the lottery is weighted. Interesting results! Some teams definitely did better in my simulations.

It is the media that votes to get the nominees

I'm sure the Habs don't want to make the playoffs and let the Rangers pass them at the final game of the season.

Interesting race in the East as the Rangers and Flyers play each other in the final 2 games of the season for both teams. The Rangers need to win both, and can afford to win one in OT.

I think the Rangers will jump them by winning both games...

He played well. Same with Lehtinen and Turco, probably last NHL-game for Lehtinen and last Stars-game for Turco. =D>

Now the Bruins almost scored into their own goal with the goalie pulled to make it 3-3, Bergeron saved it off the line

Hehe...yeah pretty exciting game so far. Bruins clinch if they get a point out of this. Also, confirmed NHL record 3 SHG in one kill.

Philly vs Rangers will be a very interesting game. Winner takes all, except if Philly looses in OT
