I inherited a Vancouver Canucks team that has Brendan Bell (the #6 Defenceman) making 8.8mil... does that count?

I started the season using the Free Agent tool on Lidas' rosters... got all my signing done... the NHL released the top ranked prospects for the upcoming season:
Here's the team:

Nice roster, but good luck staying under the cap in a year or two.

Indeed, How are they all rookies at the start of the 06-07 season, i smell somethin fishy going on...

It's Lidas' roster using the free agent tool.
And yeah, you should see the rankings for this upcoming draft... I'll post them in a minute.
I'll trade off some of my less than stellar players (like I have any) for 1st round picks.
This is really just a silly experiment.

Has anyone seen this one before? I've been playing the game since it's release and I think this is the first time I've seen this one. I don't even have the rights to this player or have him on my shortlist. Strange.

Yeah, I've got that one as well and as it seems to be players that aren't on our teams or on our shortlists I don't know why we get those news items. But still they are fun and weird.
I'm shocked that it isn't Sean Avery though.

There should be something coded into the game that makes Avery do something outrageous at least once per season. Also, Downie should have to pull some reckless cheap shot every season, maybe more.

I am using Lidas Roster v1.1 and suddenly found this young guy in one of the draft. I did not change anything in his roster. Bloodoff (what a name btw) is only 17 years old. I'll post another picture in a few days or week to let you know how tall he is going to be.

Interesting name of that swedish player.
So far I haven't met anyone named Nonplayer, but who knows maybe there is someone.
And the surname sounded more like from Iceland, but there's some swedes who got that as a surname too.

I think it's one of those type of news that get the hockey worldwide attention, as long as you have that league at enhanced.
Kinda like shocking long injuries. You'll hear of it, even if it has nothing to do with your team.
Yup, a few people have posted of seeing it. I can't remember if I have had it.

I can explain the origin of the Nonplayer... sometimes I name players Nonplayer, Invalid or Player, Invalid so I can find them easier when Im going to overwrite them. I'm gonna stop doing that from now on

Computer forgot how to count or what?
And I remember it went through OT, I was setting up shootout order, and when I confirmed, suddenly LA Kings won 4-2. I smell corruption. >_>

That happens some times, just a glitch. Double check to make sure your game is running on 3.04, I have noticed it much less frequently with the newest version. But still once in a blue moon weird things happen

I've had that one before, but only in a preseason tournament matchup where I was pitting my prospects against a lesser opponent.

ya, my scout then said the same thing against Chicoutami(spelling?) the next game. And he said that Windsor was just awful.
