Girts Ankipans has lower PA than his CA.

Are you sure it is a mistake?

I didn't know/recognize the name and I was curious, so I looked him up......from what I saw online, he hasn't played since the 2008-09 season

So he does!
Seems that EuropeanHockey.net and DinamoRiga.eu (links from wiki) need to update their info!

I think Jamie Benn could use an upgrade to his offensive skills as he seems very underrated in game, as does Jamie McGinn. Josh Harding could use a slight upgrade in skill, as well as Pascal Dupuis and Drew Miller could use some defensive skill tweaking.

Darren Helm seems quite underrated in the defensive aspects of his game.

Looking at some of his stats..
CA at 130.. He spends most of his time centering the third line, I don't have a problem with that.
PA at 135.. I believe he still has room for offensive improvement beyond 135 and under 150. It could be raised a little bit. His shot is getting better and better and he has one of the best shots on the rush in the league.
Anticipation at 13.. Seems low with his reaction time and ability to recognize a play and jump to either steal the puck or poke it away (especially on the PK). It would be better around 15, with the max for a 130 CA being 16.5
Agility at 15.. I know this is probably knit-picking, but Helm is one of the fastest men in the league, at both ends of the ice.
Stamina at 14.. Low for someone who can command a 45 second PK while skating hard the whole time and getting plenty of scoring opportunities shorthanded. Somewhere in the 16-17 range would be justifiable.

Erik Karlsson is one of the best defenders in the League. You should give him better CA/PA in i game also!

FYI I happened to be looking at the team Training (Practice? Development?) Attribute, noticed all NHL teams are between 17 and 20 except Winnipeg at 8.......also noticed a wide range in Major Junior - some WHL teams have a Training Attribute as low as 9 while others have a Training Attribute as high as 18, while OHL teams seem to all fall between 12 and 16, and QMJHL teams fall between 12 and 18.....

I raised the Jets to be on level among the NHL-teams.
WHL will be done when I update all team info soon

Lest I forget: apparently it's Micheal Haley (NY Islanders), not Michael Haley. Don't ask why.

Haven't played this game in a year and a half (am about 7 or 8 years into a Spokane Chiefs-WHL save) due to outdated rosters and tiring of the same thing. Have moved away to Football Manager and OOTP Baseball, but man, this is amazing. Thank you so much for all the hard work. Will probably wait for 4.2 to fully get into it, but this is great.

Manimal would have loved your help with WHL if u knew it at all. Tough to do everything. I am hoping that his WHL update is great. I wish I could have helped more.

Yeah, I haven't been to this site in a year or so probably so I didn't even know this was going on.
As for WHL knowledge, I used to have much more, but now I live farther north than the WHL goes, and don't get to see many live games anymore. I have some general knowledge, but not nearly as much as I had before.

I was working on the WHL before some outside stuff came up, but it sounds like Manimal is getting great help on the WHL. The WHL update should be a great addition.

Here's some updates to Finnish SM-League arenas and average attendances from home games this season. I have marked "OK!" after the capacity if it was already correct in the database. I don't know if you even want to change the average attendances but I decided to put them here too as I went through all the capacities (and names) of the arenas.
Espoo Blues: Barona Areena
Capacity: 7017 (all seated)
Average: 3743
HIFK Helsinki: Helsingin jäähalli
Capacity: 8200 OK!
Average: 8266 (it's higher than capacity because they played one home game in open ice at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium and the game had 34262 spectators)
Hämeenlinnan Pallokerho: Ritari-areena (former name: Patria-areena)
Capacity: 5360 OK!
Average: 3480
Helsingin Jokerit: Hartwall Areena
Capacity: 13506 OK!
Average: 9173
JYP Jyväskylä: Synergia-areena
Capacity: 4500 OK!
Average: 3993
KalPa-Hockey: Kuopion jäähalli
Capacity: 5224 OK!
Average: 4170
Lahden Pelicans: Isku Areena
Capacity: 5530 (3190 seated)
Average: 4760
Oulun Kärpät: Oulun Energia Areena
Capacity: 6768 (4674 seated)
Average: 5821
Porin Ässät: Isomäen jäähalli
Capacity: 6466 (4066 seated)
Average: 4798
Rauman Lukko: Kivikylän Areena (former name: Äijänsuo-Areena)
Capacity: 5400 OK!

Saimaan Pallo Lappeenranta: Kisapuisto

Minor flaw, Cal Clutterbuck is listed shooting left, when he shoots right.

Andy Costigan (GM of Manchester Phoenix) has a space after his first name which needs deleting. If you look at his first name in the Editor, you'll see what I mean.

Both are good at playing either position. They were set as 18-20 on their positions so no big difference other than what comes first. We all know the AI puts guys on any position anyway
