I always saw the RFA things as a negotiating tactic. Scare him by letting him actually be a free agent for a bit, the risk of it being he might get widdled at you and refuse to sign due to disliking you.

It would be nice to have a "News Update" type of feature that talks about who the biggest surprise/letdown players are, top prospects etc.... Just something to keep the pulse of the league. As stated above, a NHL Combine would be awesome as a direct comparison between players.

After you have Offer All a player. Is there a way to decline all the offers at once?

This is one of my biggest annoyance of this game. You Offer All, to see a player value on the market or only to realize everyone is offering the same rubbish (late pick, same naff depth players) and you have to go through the 15+ offers, declining one by one..

If it's in somewhere, I would love to know where.. if not, this is a must to be included, in my opinion.

Yeah that is the one thing I would love to have that is time saving. BEcause news item navigation is annoying.

A slightly annoying thing: I have a defender, who has broken the record for points @ SJS. The problem is, I still have 20 matches to play and every time he adds a point, I get the 'new record for defender' in my mailbox. I get it, the guy is great. I would prefer a summary at the end of the season, instead of spamming my mailbox.

edit: Great, now the 'most goals for a defender' is added too...

Yeah I got this too.. Once season I broke the records for:
-Most goals for a LW
-Most assists for a LW
-Most goals for a RW
-Most assists for a RW

all with about 1/4 of the season to go.. At least you can just Read All, and an actual action is not required to continue... (like declining a bunch of trade offers)

Agreed, the reject all button has much more priority.

It would be great to see team logos in league tables, just like in Football Manager :) It's small thing, but looks great  Image

COYS!!!

Good point, there's a lot of FM presentation and window-dressing that would go well on EHM.

I'd hope that EHM doesn't just copy FM though. It's got a pleasantly 'retro' look to it at the moment and should retain it's family-resemblance to the 'legacy' versions.

I'd like to see the player/staff roles expanded a bit. Player/Head coach, Player/Assistant Coach and the like.

When you go into a player profile it should have things listed like awards won like the cup or a vezina. Or even a nomination.

if it hasn't been suggested yet, I might wish for a different game start date than September 2014..

I might nominate they let you begin at trade deadline 2015 which is approximately when the game itself was released, might be a more relevant date for new players to just jump into the middle of the fray

from an SI standpoint, I would wish for dynamic, merit-based player progression. Like if certain accompishments like winning Memorial Cups or WJ20 led to a trigger that increased certain attributes on a player such as the "fixed" mental attributes ABDIBW or "fixed" p.a. Have they made that a thing on FM yet?

I like this idea.

Hi, just quick thought.
Just like in FM, I would like to see "chat to player" feature so my player know their performance either is good or dreadful.

Forced to play EHM07 due to my Steam account being hijacked. I would like to see the menus put back to the side again. I just find it was easily accessible instead of the way they have it now.

I would love this also. Right now we can only discipline our players... it would be neat to be able to congratulate them.
Perhaps asking certain players what they think on the team?
It would be neat to see some players complaining about other players or coaches.

After running some tests (see Quicksim VS Enhanced thread), my new wish is that the game actually returns similar results in both simming modes.

one of my biggets "Wishes" is that the All Star TEAMS (first-Second-Rookie) include in the game.
I hope that coming.

The ability to add a list of players simultaneously on one's Shortlist. I usually add a bunch of players there in start of a new game to see how they develop and such even if I wouldn't try to acquire them. Now it takes a lot of time to go through each one individually.

The game could possibly ask for which player I meant if there are several players of the same name after entering the list.

batdad wrote:To those who say scouting your own players is silly. Well....the teams all do it. They have to. You cannot tell what your players are like if you do not watch them play.

And ... this leads to my want in the game the ability for the user to have scouting abilities and to get out and scout on his own, and for those to improve over time, as well as to add scouting abilities for coaches and AGM. These guys get out and scout all the time when they have the chance. Coaches when they are not playing in a city while on a road trip will take in games as will AGM, GM...etc. This should be added some day, but is something that would come after other things.
I agree that you need to scout players, but I would love if you could do a "Coach report" and have that also be visible on the scouting screen. That way I can look at what my Head Scout (Who's report I usually look at) and Head Coach have to say about a player on the team without having to add it as a note.

There is a coach report, and an AGM report. Coach report is available in the menu on every single player on your team. yeah have to do it for all separately but it is there. AGM report is also there if you have one in the Action menu on your roster. GIves you how he feels the team breaks down,

Oh, I know about the reports, I just mean if I do a coach report it shows up as a new item in the news feed. I can then make a note based on the report if I want to track it.

I'm suggesting that if I request a coach report when I go to the scouting reports on a player, it would also show in the drop down of scouts the coaches evaluation instead of having to manually make a note.

I'm really hoping for higher screen resolutions down the road as I'm growing tired of windowed box mode lol
