EHM The Blue Line

I thought well done Flyers when they fired Hackstol and his horrible attributes, then they hired this guy as new Head Coach:

Strange. I used to get that in EA, but not anymore at 1.0.2. I've been looking at who the AI signs as staff and most of them are quite good.

Behold:

The setup for the "shot" of the winning goal (actually a clearing attempt) in Game 6 of the 18-19 Stanley Cup finals, giving the Capitals a 4-2 series win.

This was somehow a slapshot from the defensive blue line that a) beat the goalie who b) didn't react at all.

You mean that Ovi scored on the other end of the ice?

That was not too uncommon in EHM 2007. I am yet to see it happen in EHM 1 or Early Access, though.

I wonder exactly what kind of return Mr. Mellanby expects for a third line centre with a whopping 5 points in 31 games.

I think it has to do with what you set your team needs as.

Looks like the Lightning also want in on the Drouin sweepstakes!

That happens if the team has their own player on shortlist somehow. Lightning has Drouin on shortlist so the game sees that as interest for the player.

At least for me I think it did because the WC started on the 27th of April.

So the Comet had quite a difficult season in the Norwegian GET Ligaen. Or actually they still have one game left but I think the chances of them moving up are quite slim.
The funny thing is they didn't decide to fire their GM until that point, like they still had a chance or something.

Nearly lost my early season unbeaten run (and against my local rivals), but managed to turn it around and score the tying goal with 37 seconds to go. I do love those rare occasions where pulling the netminder pays off!

Gave up an empty netter midgame whilst heading to a power play smh. Seen it IRL, didn't know it could happen in the game.

I thought the goal would be disallowed according to the modern rules? Or am I completely misinformed?
