Me thinks Mr Nikushkin needs a turn down. He and Galchenyuk both seem to reach god like status in a few reports I have seen. Although they will both be very good players, they will not reach the status and lore of Mr Gretzky and Mr Howe. No chance, no how.

Alright did a Default sim with all leagues selected(Only the US National League is enhanced) to 2032
Key Notes off a quick look(I'll try to do a more in-depth look at both saves(Default DB and 7.3 DB):
There are quite a few 38+ year olds playing despite terrible physical attributes(and a solid amount of 38+ with exceptional physical stats, think Jagr) and players in the minor league that could be playing in those spots
Players seem to have poor mental attributes (for example, Team USA's roster sorted by reputation)

Scoring was low(Highest scorer was in the 40s most times)(Could be quicksim setting, I dunno)
Drafts:
A LOT of 1st round busts, I dunno if that is cpu drafting or naff draft prospects(or rankings), but on the flip side there are a solid amount of 2nd-4th rounders that turned into solid or even all-star players and even some late rounders that really turn out solid.
POst more later, gotta take my son to a doc appointment

Sadly nothing changed. Still naff mental attributes post 2017 draft. Along with those 2017 and earlier draft picks regardless of age(33-39) having 90% of the national team slots.
Player creation needs to be adjusted. Most of the elite players have godly physical and technical attributes but dumb mental attributes

Wasn't fast at all. Had the top leagues selected plus AHL w/nhl league as enhanced and details set to Quick sim. Started around 1130am and let it go to 1030p.m. and only made it to about 2027

My computer in that time would make the first season. Maybe it's because you use quick sim, tho

I might get two seasons done in that time, but I always use all available Leagues and all are on Enhanced (I never use QuickSim)

Well the reason I quick simmed was strictly for checking the mental attributes of the players being created past the 2017 draft. Type only league I had enhanced was the NHL(default db)

Gonna sim further today. Nothing will probably change, but it'll give us more ammo to send to Riz and the other developers

Based off two separate sims
Years fluctuate from what I've noticed. Wrote down the numbers to one of the sims I did in an 8 year period
Year - 1st Round Good - 1st Round Busts - # 2/3 Rounders That turn out good - Round 4-7 Good Players
2022 - 8 - 22 - 4 - 3
2023 - 21 - 9 - 13 - 3
2024 - 18 - 12 - 16 - 5
2025 - 14 -16 - 17 - 4
2026 - 23 - 7 - 24 - 9
2027 - 22 - 8 - 18 - 7
2028 - 24 - 6 - 13 - 2
2029 - 21 - 9 - 17 - 7
Overall pretty good besides a few wonky years(2022/2025) and I'm liking the late round gems, but as far as the 2nd/3rd rounders I don't know if it's the CPU reaching(ie. those 2nd rounders actua
w/ 15.2
Did a check of this last sim
Year - 1st Good - 1st Bust - 2/3 Good - 4-7 Good
2020 - 12 - 18 - 10 - 0
2021 - 18 - 12 - 10 - 1
2022 - 20 - 10 - 9 - 6
2023 - 21 - 9 - 14 - 4
2024 - 16 - 14 - 10 - 7
2025 - 17 - 13 - 19 - 9
2026 - 17- 13 - 18 - 5
2027 - 24 - 6 - 14 - 3
2028 - 20 - 10 - 15 - 5
2029 - 19 - 11 - 14 - 4
2030 - 22 - 8 - 14 - 6
I'm liking the late round gems, higher numbers of 2nd/3rd rounders could have been bad drafting, but I can't tell for past drafts.

Yup. I'm thinking the poor mental attribute is the reason for the poor reputations.

No. It is just the way it is in the game. Harder to get high ratings and harder to get increased reputation. In my game right now three years in and have had Steve Mason with ridiculous numbers and he is still rated very good. May be related somewhat to the low mental stats later, but it is not the reason. The reason is the ratings just are much harder to get high numbers at this point, so reputation not going up.
This is with lots of guys who are still in the show. In 2.5 seasons there are ZERO star players on my Flyers and only Claude Giroux is superb. He was the only superb player at the start. Very Good is all over the place, but reps not going up like they did in the past at all.

Still all points to being a little bit broken. Glad we're in early access though so these things can be ironed out.

Hmm..didn't know that. It is still strange that the only "STAR" player was from the 2018 draft and at age 37.

I see nothing wrong with this.......

Never said nothing was wrong with it. But when you have the two seasons I have in the challenge (check my challenge stats) you woudl at least think Giroux and Mason would be stars. Mason has won both Vezinas, both Conn Smythe's and been 1st team all star both seasons.

Even Rob Zepp as back up goalie was 2nd all star in year 2.

Oh I know...I was just being a negative nancy towards the Flyers...
