Maybe instead of "Girly" you should call it "Pastels"?

Also, good idea on the FHM scheme, jhcjobpb. For people that have never played EHM, but have played FHM, maybe that will be a welcome addition.

Well the name doesn't really have any difference. :-D Yeah it suddenly came to mind to put FHM colours there too.

Now I'm just hoping we could get more colour ranges than 4. :-)

I'm still trying to figure out how 4 goes in to 99 (technically 98 I guess) or 20. Not that the 98 is the problem, the 20 is. You'd think it'd be 5.

I observed in ehm_default CJ.col when you go to watch player possition there is a problem with natural position.

Colours from 2007 version are a little bit more visible so it's fine! :)

I think it's possible to change that dark grey background that's behind that text also.

I used the .col file and used the excellent section as blue. Works rather well IMO.

I saw in this thread that the boxes seem to be hard coded and theres nothing one can do to have only the numbers.

But searching for EHM pictures in google shows the numbers without the boxes T_T (searching for Connor Mcdavid will get back a picture of Crosby in the Flyers with this, and from the layout of the screen it seems is for EHM:EA and not the old game). Since the posts stating it is hardcoded are somewhat old, I just wanted to confirm if anyone found any solution to this from that point onwards or if I really need to get used to the boxes.

Thanks in advance :)

So, I finally picked up this game and am having a blast. Trying to have a colour scheme that is reminiscing of my FM15 game is hard, (I use Green>Orange>White>Grey), so I had to mess around a bit to try and get my own scheme that helps me see great/good attributes faster...

Here is "RGB"
Image
As the name says, Red green and blue are the main colours. Green is excellent, red is good, blue is average, and then black/gray for bad attributes. The reason I switched red and green around is because I feel the highest attributes need to be the loudest, and sadly the default EHM skin dulls the colours a bit.

Code: Select all

# PROFILE_ATTRIB_LOW
88 0 0 0

# PROFILE_ATTRIB_NORMAL
89 0 0 255

# PROFILE_ATTRIB_GOOD
90 255 0 0

# PROFILE_ATTRIB_EXCELLENT
91 0 255 0
jhcjobpb is free to add it to the opening post :)

Would anyone happen to know which colors are used in the practice screen attributes and how to change them? I'm having trouble telling the green from gray and have not had any luck looking in the default.col file.

Is it possible to change rating 7-12 as normal instead of the default where 7-11 is normal? I don't want rating 12 to be good but want that to be normal. If so, what file do I need to edit?

I believe you need to edit the .col file included in the download.

If I remember correctly we can't manually "choose" what number we want to edit.

How do I add the skin? There is no default file present in the file, so when I change the skin to ehm_default it doesn't show up in game. I'm colorblind, so this would be a much needed benefit to the game.

I can't really describe it better than it does in the first post "guide".. :dunno:

This is what I went with:

Image

You may notice that I made the lower two attributes are the same color, I think its okay to do so if you play at NHL level, some players may have a attribute at 6 which isn't much different than 7 and I didn't want the distraction of a fourth color.
