Thanks archi - I'll wait till then to update franchise histories...really slow going trying to do it in the editor. Spreadsheeting those will be so much easier.
Any ideas on the draft lotto? Could something I edited have messed that selection process up? I'm at a loss...

...just noticed that there is no all star game in the nhl either...when i looked in the database under the nhl all stars - structure..i noticed all the ahl teams were listed instead of the nhl teams.
...same thing was in the nhl 36 team database as well

Thanks for the heads up on the All-Star game. Not sure what the issue, spent all morning trying to get it to show back up - even imported the league settings from the TBL roster set. No luck as of yet. Every single setting for both the league structure and the All-Star teams match the TBL file. This one and the draft lottery (which does actually work fine in NHL36) have me stumped at the moment. The draft lottery is my bigger concern at the moment though - getting that to work correctly is imperative to how the game plays out.

that s a great work you ve done so far BKarchitect
a 32/32/32 frame was the dream i couldn t achieve in the editor because of schedule templates
i tried to put your schedule onto the tbl 10.1 to start a fantasy game
31 teams are playing 82 games, but one is playing zero game a year
in the editor i cant figure out how i can have 1312 games in the templates (i stole yours) without being able to change the 1271 games which is greyed in the basic data
how did you change that ?
some other things :
david conte is in vegas now
i also had the weird lottery draft with your db, one message i received in june says "the draft lottery is composed by the 14 non playoffable teams etc..."
it s like the game still uses a pre vegas frame, but afterwards, there are 32 and not 30 picks per round, even if it s not the right order
(maybe those 2 nonplayoffables becomes the wildcards and Maple Leafs up the rest of the process ?)
on a fantasy, i can only go to 42 rounds, but when with i played with tbl, with 30 or 31 or 32, the game usually goes to 46 rounds
and thats perfect when you start with seatttle and empty affiliates
is it because there are some young players under rights missing or ?
any idea how i could have more rounds ?

I can't really comment on trying to merge my database with TBL. It sounds messy. You need to address the league structure, divisions, schedule template, divisions within the schedule template, etc. Possible, yes, but it'll take work.
In terms of the wonky NHL Entry Draft Lottery in NHL32 - I'm looking into it. It works fine in NHL36 with 36 teams but somewhere in the transition back down to 32 teams, the draft is getting messed up. I'll look into the fantasy draft thing as well. I'll update this post when I figure things out.

You can transfer league structures (which will bring with it the schedule template, financial data, etc) by using the Export and Import buttons located at the bottom of the Rules & Structures screen. So all you'd need to do is add you missing team(s) and division(s) and update the Rules & Structures settings to point to these.

Please could we avoid unnecessary upping of threads. Bk will no doubt post in this thread if he ever solves it. In any event, I believe he had put this on hold for now.
Perhaps you could try solving the lottery bug?

I was trying to solve it as well, I have a feeling the issue might be with the workflow of having created the 36 team NHL db and then bringing it back down to 32 while leaving the "extra" 4 NHL teams in the database - but I'm not sure.
My check on this was to take the TBL 10.1 roster and add a 32nd team to the NHL, but I haven't been able to find a way to do it without the game crashing on startup (I'm more familiar with player and club editing - competition editing isn't something I know much about).
Anyone been able to do this?

I'm not certain it's because of 36 down to 32 because I think use SEPH was creating his own TBL-based custom database with 32 teams and had the same issue.
I will try my own TBL update with 32 teams and see what happens.

Same for me. It crashes on startup.
I also edit a lot in databases, but only like you with players and teams and no competitions. The only time I edited a competition was when I added a college team in a division, but I just copied a game schedule from another college division, so that was easy. This seems to be more tricky.

FIXED IT
Should be able to do a full release of a v2.7 of NH32 tomorrow complete with updated Expansion Draft and Draft Kit for those who want to make their own Seattle selections!

I'm starting an online league with this DB this weekend so this is perfect timing.

Honestly I don’t know I just re-ported NHL36 following my usual steps and it seems to be working now. I’m going to try and duplicate it to be sure.

NHL32 version 3.0 Update - ***POST-DEADLINE*** March 7, 2018
Entry Draft Lottery Bug FIXED! As far as I can tell anyways...let me know if you still see an issue with it.
- Usual stuff is updated that was updated for NHL36 v2.7 plus a few additional tweaks and moves that have occurred in the past few days
- Same Expansion Draft setup as NHL36 but obviously, only Seattle picking so they get one player from each of the other 31 teams for a roster of 31 players to start (18 F / 10 D / 3 G). Again, use the toolkit if you want to conduct your own expansion draft - instructions are in the NHL32 thread...it's quite fun and with only Seattle, takes a LOT less time than in NHL36.
Here are the latest v3.0 database (also updated on the first post in TBL NHL32 thread):
Version 4.0 - NHL32 Expansion - Seattle (April 8, 2018)

Here is the latest v3.0 Expansion Draft Tookit for NHL32:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/d3omiwlkx2kxv ... .xlsx?dl=0
Here is the starting Seattle roster if you use the initial Expansion Draft that comes with the database...it's a blend of vets and youth. Hard to find top notch centers in the draft so a bit weak there but a couple of good goalies and a solid defense to build upon along with solid wing depth. Took many of the more promising exposed young players such as Roland McKeown, Marcus Pettersson, Michael Amadio , Brendan Lemieux and Dominik Masin - none are going to be big stars but they give you a decent prospect pool to start. First year won't be easy but you've got enough to play around with right away!
