EHM The Blue Line

Ok, thanks Lazion. I just started a new franchise with version 1.2, and I'm just simming till June 25th to see if I can get past it. If needed, I'll try going on vacation.

Still get the crash to desktop in version 1.2. It doesn't matter if I'm a GM of a team in any league or if I'm unemployed, or if I go on vacation. I cannot get past June 25, 2007.

BTW, I had noticed the RFA issue as well, but forgot to mention it in my first post.

No rush Lazion. I just appreciate that people are still working on mods for the game. In the meantime, I've gone back to the original unfaked db released by TBL.

I love the pics. They'd go great in a facepack.

Little question for u gollum and silvarn. What leagues u have selectet playable?
Maybe the game crash takes effect from AHL.

I usually have all the leagues selected and enhanced.

Ok. I'll keep on tracking the reason why game grashes.
I managed to fix AHL,WHL and RFA bugs.
Currently running test season.. wish that the game doesnt crash anymore.

If you want, I can run a quick test with 1.2 with only the NHL selected and see if that makes a difference?

I can confirm now that in version 1.3, the AHL bug, UFA/RFA bug, and the June 25, 2007 crash bug are all fixed!

You have to rename the picture file so that the birthdate on the file is same as in the game.

Pics are located at: EHM/data/pictures/players

This database has edited birthdates, so to get pics to show on this update, you need to edit the pic file names.

Other alternatives are the default database or the TBL Updated Database, with those you don't need to edit pic file names.

But in TBL rosters player ages are not correct

I dont have much time for those pictures, but currently working on it.
Also v.1.4. is coming soon available. Including NHL non-players, Czech extraliga & many more things.
I and many others would be very appreciative if u guys would make some pictures of players & logos and send those in TBL

Heya everyone... Will do sort of an introduction after this to some other topic if I happen to find one. Am more of a Football Manager guy (The Dugout and FM Underground). Posted this to EHM Finland, but might as well post it here too now that I'm getting the hang of EHM again

I had slight problems with the La-Z roster update and the facebacks downloaded from TBL. The birthyears in facepack files were different from what they're in the roster update. So in order to make them work together properly, I was forced to find a solution to automate the process instead of going through nearly 7000 facepack files individually in my \players\ folder.
So to make for example Alexander_Ovechkin_17_09_1985.jpg turn to Alexander_Ovechkin_17_09_1984.jpg.

So I looked onto options today and came up with one plausible solution which ended up working perfectly. Using birthyears as search strings and by replacing the searched strings, this turned up to be quite easy to do. I assumed all players in the game were born between 1960 and 1994.
So here you go:

1. Download and install Total Commander from http://www.ghisler.com/download.htm
2. Open the installed application and browse to your data\pictures\players\ -directory and select all files that require this change (practically all files)
3. Go to Files -> Multi-Rename Tool (from menubar on top)
4. Set the following settings seen on the screenshot: http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o273 ... 612625.jpg (see below for the values used with search for and replace with)
5. search for:
1960|1961|1962|1963|1964|1965|1966|1967|1968|1969|1970|1971|1972|1973|1974|1975|1976|1977|1978|1979|1980|1981|1982|1983|1984|1985|1986|1987|1988|1989|1990|1991|1992|1993|1994
replace with:
1959|1960|1961|1962|1963|1964|1965|1966|1967|1968|1969|1970|1971|1972|1973|1974|1975|1976|1977|1978|1979|1980|1981|1982|1983|1984|1985|1986|1987|1988|1989|1990|1991|1992|1993

So practically the first one Rename mask: file name & Extension and those search and replace values. The other settings should be fine as a default.

6. Click start and wait for it to process. Shouldn't take too long. I'd say from 10 seconds to a minute. Depending on your computer speed and the number of files to change.

Hey, I really enjoy your rosters, played with them over 2 seasons. Only thing I had to edit were some of the team colors that I disliked (NY Islanders and Canucks), but other than that you did a very good job. This one suits me more because of the changed attributes and unfaked names (you know, i am very perfectionist person ). Only a minor minus is that the rosters were updated to the current status, with Joe Corvo and Patrick Eaves already in Carolina, which kinda put me out of the place, but that don't really matters. I also noticed quite a lot of injuries in some of the teams including Carolina and Canucks, but whatever, never gonna play with those two so I don't give a darn . I am not missing power in my offense, they do.

La-Z 2007-08 Roster update v1.3 not sure if this is the right thread to post this but i was looking on the downloads and La-Z 2007-08 Roster update v1.3 has OHL and WHL and such... Is that just rosters or does it have attributes fixes for players as well?

I can't really remember.. there might be some attribute changes.. can't be sure. Cos in large update (like this) doing all by allalone.. that's almost imbossible to remember.

Yup, just finished my first season and 99.9% of all the players are RFA. Guys that are 36-37...all I had to do is "qualify" them and they did not go to unrestricted free agency. Any way to fix this?

Download this file: Playerinfo File
and replace old playerinfo file.
This should work..
