You know what. I uninstalled the game, then re-installed it, to see if that was the problem. And I never thought to get the patch. Thanks, I will go try that. Then it should be A-OK!

OK I installed the patch. Now the game doesn't work at all. This is the message I get:

This application has failed to start because msvcr71.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

I have re-installed it and installed the patch again. Same thing. This would really suck to not be able to play the game with no roster updates.

I just did a search for msvcr71.dll and found this thread. It should help you. If you have any more problems reinstalling, you should really keep it in that thread. This isn't an issues with the Lidas Roster Update and we don't want to clog up the roster update thread with this.

Thanks man. I did a search as well and found it. Now things are working again and I can enjoy all the Lidas 2.2 goodness. Sorry for clogging up this thread.

Thx for the amazing work you put in this Lidas. Just 1 thing...im trying to download version 2.2 but the link appears to be broken...anyway im playing wit 2.1 now so its not a big deal. Thx again!!!

well thats weird cause its still not working here. Anyway i was more messaging here to say thanx cause of the works you put in every of your update... Its really appreciate cause you are helping the best sport game to stay alive!!

well i dont know. I click on the link in the forum and it direct me to the dl page. I click on the download folder image and then i got the "link broken" message.

The link works for me too. I think it's something on your end, Vince. Try clearing out your cache, maybe your cookies too. Something is causing it to not work for you specifically.

Just wanted to mention this. I think it is time something was done about Mike Freaking Rathje. Something major. Like make him worse than any player in the db or something. Cause in my challenge game with the Oilers the dude who has not played in over 2 years, is still playing as Philadelphia's #3 dman. And he won the dang Stanley Cup. No way...no how.

And I'll ask once again... Could you please update the Finnish Mestis rosters?

I set his CA/PA in half. His contract is up this year, I think, so he'll be retired then. The Flyers just have him on LTIR so they can go over the cap

You shouldnt change his PA, only his CA. Many sites states that he is retired, but we need to keep him in the game for the reminder of this season for financial reasons. Give him CA 60, and he wont be in any NHL games for sure. Maybe he'll play some minor games, but we'll just have to live that.

this is a bit off-topic to lidas roster but anyone know what the PA and CA realistically would be for Hall and Seigum for when they were back 14-15 yrs old?

I can't seem to install this, or any roster update since I got my new computer. I never had windows 7 before, so I don't know if that makes a difference. The error message I get says: unable to create output file "C:/ ....database\LidasDB2.2\affiliations.dat"

Any help anyone can give me would be appreciated. I can't wait to try this new roster update, they're always good.

I believe this is due to how you're logged in with Win7. I think you need to do it with Administrator rights. I'm not sure about the specifics though. I'm still running XP on all of my computers.

I am logged in with Administrator rights. Oh well, I guess it's been kind of interesting playing the game from the start again. It's pretty easy to get Bobby Ryan, Marc Staal and whack of other players for dirt cheap.

Would be nice to get the updates though if anyone can help me out.
