OliverBeckham wrote:Can you please add Whitley Bay Ice Rink to Newcastle Vipers as they play there now and not the Newcastle Arena,
Also they still get an average crowd of 1,286 per match but there capacity is now only 3000.
Also there costs of renting the arena is half of what it costs to rent the old Newcastle Arena, can you add this in please as it will make the EIHL more realistic etc.
It will be added along with the average attendance from last year. The cost of the arena is not editable

They have last year filled out the rink before when Sheffield Steelers came to Whitley bay, so they do have potential for extra fans as they always do marketing.

Ok i added the 3.0 update to my game, im looking through and it shows the Elite league as having a £276,000 budget per team but it is in fact £300,000 per season like Belfast Giants currently have in real life that is how they have added players like Brad Smyth from the NHL to there team.

Prove it and I will change it
EDIT: I just saw it mentioned in an earlier discussion. I tried to calculate it to be on a weekly basis (as is set by the editor) and in us dollar. I might just have claculated wrong

Lol manimal im not here to challenge you, i just want to help you in the best possible way, i too love your work, but the Elite league and EPL are fantastic leagues from the UK so i am trying to help.
I think it might have been just calculated wrong.
Also Braehead Clans colours cannot even be viewed as it is so dark in your update.

I love the feeling when i sign some promising old timer like Michael Grosek for my Newcastle Vipers team like i just did manimal hes about 35 years old but still good enough for the Elite league

his wages are high though so he is my star!

i played the 2.3 version with the rosters from last season and i noticed that after i sign a prospect then i can't asign him on the affilates teams in ahl or the other leagues unless he is 20 years old or older. under 20 years of age i can only send them back to juniors. is this supposed to be so or is this a bug? the computer teams have no such problems, they had 18,19 yo players in their affilates teams...

It's not a bug. If no CHL team has the players rights then they CAN be sent to the minor leagues. Otherwise they have to play in the NHL or be sent back to junior.

Manimal can you advise me on expanding EHM, i would like to work on this after your updates are out, as in news items variations, fight commentry, game commentry, play by play with official quotes from real commentators added to the game etc.

More info, with facts Newcastle Vipers from the ELITE league, the official capacity is not 3000 it is 3200 at the Whitley Bay Ice Rink.

I have never done any of that so I cannot give you any advice.
I, personally, find those things are only cosmetical with little effect on what I get out of the game
My best advice is test different things until you find something you like

So, I know the Oilers were done...but I have a hard time believing that Jordan Eberle's speed and ability is still very low, and that Theo Peckham is still a terrible AHL player in this update, let alone a top 6 d-man with the Oilers IRL.

No, I believe the Oilers researcher sent me the wrong file, as it did not contain much. He has not returned my PM with the question about it yet

Ah, that makes more sense then.

I've started this up and played it for a while, and I hate to say that without all teams being complete, this roster is tough to play with. Don't get me wrong, this isn't to discredit those who have put in the effort, especially Manimal's, because this is a huge project to undertake. Hell, I contributed to the research as well. Given that I play with the NHL exclusively, I find it hard to play with the roster if 13 (or whatever it is) of the 30 teams are updated, and the others aren't.
Praise to all those who worked on this roster. 3.1 should be really good!

Elite league team Braehead Clan have a 4000 capacity arena by the name of BRAEHEAD ARENA
http://www.braehead-arena.co.uk/content ... ge=whatson
1200 per match is there average attendance, there last match was 998 due to snow and icey conditions.
I also noticed that Hull Stingrays did not have any players when i 1st started the season???

I've just come back to the game and I am thrilled to see this update - thank you.
Have started up a game with Telford Tigers of the EPL and Declan Ryan (netminder) appears to be missing. Tom Watkins should be a player/coach, and the capacity comes up as zero, for some reason.

Yeah, some things are a bit unbalanced and I would have liked to change more attributes for the NHL players but the update had to be out some time
Thanks, it will be added later on.

The EPL will be updated in a future release
