I have fixed the salary cap and salary floor settings in the Steam Workshop version and have re-uploaded as version 1.0.1. I will re-upload to the TBL Database later today/tomorrow.

Where do I install all these zip files? and will they show up as the proper logos and faces if I downloaded the roster through steam?

And how come you didnt make the full download (including facepacks logos etc) available through steam?

There's a guide here: http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/wiki/inde ... rly_Access

We simply didn't upload them - there's no particular reason for it.

I installed the face pack but some of the pictures aren't the same. Like the picture of Hasek is still an action shot, however some are the right pics

I downloaded the 114MB file and placed it in the right location. All the other logos/images load fine, just the face pictures aren't all the right ones (that you guys have on the first page of this thread, the leaderboards pics)

Sounds like you may not have chosen to overwrite any existing images when you extracted the zip.

There's errors in the Czech players in the facepack with those weird letters that the game doesn't recognizes. I will fix them later and release a fix for them.

If you want Hasek's face to show, go to the map and search for Hasek and rename that picture to the same name as it is in-game.

I didn't sign big-name free agents aside from Peca my first offseason (because he was apparently just going to go unsigned). I signed Rafalski, Tim Thomas, and Visnovsky from overseas. Otherwise I signed guys like Jeff Halpern, Steve Kariya, Jason Blake, Tom Preissing, Steve Reinprecht, etc, and waiver claims like Jim Cummins, Cale Hulse, and Luke Richardson.

Haha. We've got almost the same team then. :-D
I have a screenshot of my team in the "what team are you?" thread.

Thanks. It's fixed now. (with other teams that were also missing arenas in Major Junior)

No idea at all. I haven't planned anything. I worked almost a year on this, so I need a little time off right now. So can't promise anything.

*looks*

Pretty similar, yeah. My goalies are Hebert (a cheap trade), Khabibulin (a *not* cheap trade) and Thomas (FA) though. Hebert was good, then his play went off a cliff and I can't move him because of his contract. So I'm rolling with Thomas and Khabibulin platooning, with Hebert has a 3rd on-roster until I can find a way to move him. I have Halpern and Boulton on NHL roster, if that tells you anything about depth differences, and while you just have Pahlsson still unsigned, I have him playing in NHL already along with Toni Lydman.

Your roster is definitely better/deeper, outside of goal. I have Tarasov in the AHL, plus Ryan Miller and Niklas Backstrom as prospects. Zetterberg, Andrew Hutchinson, and Ryan Malone were my first draft class. Your top dman is Schneider, mine is only Rafalski. Halpern is my 2C, where you have Nieuwendyk, etc.

I'm trying hard to stay young as possible still and not get *too* many vets. I also should give up on trying to trade for/acquire young plaers and just stockpile some draft picks I guess.

Martin St. Louis was a HUGE disappointment for me. He can't even contribute much in the ECHL and basically won't develop at all.

You're playing EHM1? You have this TBL Retro Rosters 1998/99 in the game and you've downloaded that specific facepack for it?

How can you be 8 years off? Sounds like you're in 2006 or 1990?

EHM 1 facepack , everything seems to be ok, Problem is for example is Gretzky has 69 or seomething as birthdate in files and 61 in game or the other way round and thats with many Players, got the file from here a 2 part zip file , Version 0.9 and use the challenge savegame atm. really weird. It has to be a very simple solution jsut cant see it. Maybe i downladed old files that were adjsuted in birtdate for EHM startdate of an old Version ist a littel confusing here with the one ink not working and to have to search across the boards. Probaly ist because ist an old facepack adjusted to a different startdate, but when i download the 1.0 one above i get a weird file with a 7z something ending .So confused.

Do not confuse (CJ rosters v0.9) with the new one (TBL retro rosters v1.0). That's an old miniature version of everything we've done now. That was only a small project of my own I worked a couple months on.

[1998-99] TBL 1998 Retro Rosters v1.0
http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... 16&t=13516
Click that link and every addon available for that DB I've done is there. :-)

7z is not a weird file. It works like ZIP or RAR. 7z is a "better" file opening program which can open 7z, zip or rar and other ones also. If that's you're problem here maybe we should upload a zipped version then?

Not home right now to upload any Facepacks.

Here's 7z for you for most operative systems:
http://www.7-zip.org/download.html

Once it's installed. You just right click on the file you wanna unpack just like zip/rar and extract it.
