Thanks. It didn't go as fast as it did the first time around, and I really would've wanted the ECHL updated too, they're fun to play... Oh well, real world comes first, right? :dunno:

Indeed Tasku, im sure some one will be more than willing to update the ECHL, i would take over, but i'm not too big on it. But if theres a decent enough source. I'm in.

Here you go: http://echl.leaguestat.com/stats/roster.php

All teams in alphabetical order. 8-)

...

But then ofcourse there's also the teams that have folded and what not...

Nonetheless, I think if Thunderbug's still game, he should be next. And then Icos. Those two guys have waited "a while" for their turn.

That is, if their still in for it.

Not sure that it makes a difference or not but the ECHL has changed their weekly figured from 10500 to 11200 in the transfer_rules_config.cfg file

As of now updating the ECHL has been cancelled - or atleast I won't do it. Personal reasons, no time to commit.

v1.5 is out! http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/dl ... ile_id=470 8-)

Who's next? Anymore updaters? :-k

Even if the season is coming to an end, it doesn't mean EHM or the updating will stop, atleast it doesn't have to be like that.

Anyone?

Thunderbug and Icos were, at one point, supposed to do their stuff on the database, but I'm not sure if they're interested anymore.

Give them a couple of days, and if they're not taking it, it's all yours! 8-)

Indeed i shall, i'll leave it a week or so and see if they respond.

What leagues were they choosing to update?

Thunderbug: UHL (I think?)
Icos: Austria and Slovenia (I think?)

:-k

Well i'll just make a start using the Extra_Config file, then obviously post it in the research lab, so people can check it's ok, and then edit the DB when it's my turn.

Thanks a bunch for doing this!

I am new to this database updating thing and I have a few questions:

Will this work on a mac?
Also, do i install both this update and the TBL unfaking update together? Or will this suffice?

Thanks in advance1

I have no idea about the Mac question - only ever used PC. But for your second question: no, you only need one database. This is based on the unfaking, so basically all changes in the unfake are also included in this database.

Careful Tasku--not based on kidhander's unfaking. TBL modded all the teams with no attribute changes. 1.5 is based on our TBL Database original. Which was edited from the default database. It is not based on kidhander's unfaking which has edited attributes.

Please do not get into attribute editing and whether it is worthwhile or not. That has been discussed ad nauseum. Unfaking has the edits to attributes, TBL Databases (at this time) do not. Just a difference in philosophy and implementation. Not arguing at all which is better. Both have good things, both have not so good things.

I wasn't confusing them, just thought I'd for the sake of clarity call it "unfaking", only it happens to be the TBL Unfaking, because that's basically what it does: it makes the faked names unfaked: real.

If I would've called it by it's real name: "The TBL Database", then...
This is based on the TBL Database, so basically all changes in the TBL Database are also included in this database.
Databases here databases there... what? :-?

The database is compatible with the Mac, by the way. All addons are compatible with the Mac

Are the people who did the last one Manchester and Sheffield fans by any chance?

The players on those 2 teams have very generous ratings whilst the Panthers players have very poor ratings in comparison. lol

Plus, Manchester always seem to finish really high in the league! lolol
