You just put the CSD Patch exe file in the same folder as your ehm2007.exe (i.e. in your 'Eastside Hockey Manager 2007' installation folder). The readme.pdf has fuller details.
The Worker wrote:Your patch don't work for me, it used to, before I reinstalled my computer, but not anymore.
The thing is, it just stops loading, doesn't matter if i use 'run as administrator' or not.
I get no message why.
I have the latest version of .net framework installed
What stops loading - the game or the Patch?
Have you tried using the Apply Patch Only button?

Edit: One more info: I run this patch as administrator every time.

Try launching EHM, then launching the CSD patch and then clicking "Apply Patch Only"

Well, it seems that I solved it by installing Visual c++ again but this time x86 version and looks like it works now (doesn't make sense for me because I have Windows 7 x64) but the main thing is that it finally works.

EDIT: Tried to launch CSD patch on my PC (I have EHM in notebook only right now) WITHOUT EHM and it opened fine. Really don't know what to think about it

Firstly, try double-checking you have the correct version of the .NET installed. Here are the details/instructions:
http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... 21#p133221
It could be that you don't have all of the Windows updates installed. Try running Windows Update. Do you have the latest Windows Service Pack installed? Bruins72 had difficulty because he didn't have all the updates and the latest SP installed (
link). Bruins72's difficulty was a bit different but it's well worth ensuring that you have the latest Windows updates installed because it could be the reason why it works on your PC but not your notebook.
You could also try using the CSD Checker instead (
download link). Load EHM and wait until you get past the opening credits, and then load the CSD Checker.

Edit: Oops I see I posted my response too late (I left my computer half way through writing the response and came back to it just now).
Maybe it is because the Patch is 32-bit - perhaps that is why the x86 C++ file is needed... Thanks for posting the solution - I'm sure it will help others too.

No not yet. We're working on it but it takes time. We really need volunteers if you're interested:

The error suggests either you haven't enabled 'Run as Admin' or EHM is not running.
Have you enabled the 'Run as Admin' option?
Does EHM load when you click on the Patch and Launch button? Have you tried the Apply Patch Only method?

Got it working now.

What I did was to reinstall it in the standard pathway, I had it on another harddrive earlier. Thanks for this fix!

When I use Artmoney, I only need to use it when I create my new file, right? After I sim beyond Oct. 1st and save I don't need it anymore?
And are there any bugs if I select the leagues (NHL, AHL, CHL [OHL, WHL, QMJHL], SEL, and RUS?

There are no bugs with any leagues. They should all work fine.
You need to use the Patch/ArtMoney until you reach 1 Feb / 1 July of the first season depending upon which leagues you have selected. There are further details in the readme.

When playing the Elite league after the 1st season the game shuts automatically?
Any ideas?

OliverBeckham wrote:When playing the Elite league after the 1st season the game shuts automatically?

The most likely cause is that you did not run the Patch each time you reloaded the game until you reached 1 Feb / 1 July of the first season. Either that, or you used the Patch to load a game after 1 July.

Sorry for being a total noob here, but do I need to save my game on Feb/July 1st and then restart my game without the patch?

That's a good question - no you don't need to restart the game. It's just that once you have gone past 1st Feb/July then whenever you next reload the game, you don't need to use the patch any more.

Is it normal that some players can be signed even though they are 17 years old and playing in the juniors ??
I have seen a couple of those in my 1st season playing with the CSD and the latest rosters...
Cody Payne from Plymouth is one of them....
I also seem to be having some issues with waivers... seems like anyone needs to go through waivers now ? But I think you are already aware of that problem and are working on it... ?
