Thanks for the info, it helped a great deal, with rynnas and Owuya. I made use of (http://www.eurohockey.com/player/87693-mark-owuya.html) for as many stats as possible, and scanned the entire thread on these boards, as well as looking at five or six websites, and have been unable to come up with W-L-T for goalies that played time in Europe. I'll be leaving those as zeros.

Final question for the Maple Leafs players (I proomise). The Slovak Extraliga where HK Dukla Trencin play, would that be considered first division? I only ask, because the HK 95 Povazska Bystrica are listed as Slovak2 on multiple sites, but the team's page say that it is based in the Slovak 1.liga, which I take to mean first league, or division.

Owuya had 16 wins in 2010-11 with Djurgården in the Swedish Elitserie and another 3 in the play-offs

If it helps, you can find which league a team plays in by loading up the Pre Game Editor (using Manimal v4.0) and looking up the team. This will help you out most of the time (but not always because of hardcoded league limits - some leagues have since expanded, etc).

Tomas Kaberle is no where to be found. I checked, and according to the Manimal 4.0 he is with Carolina, but he's not there. He's also not on Boston, Toronto, any NHL team, or with _BLANK.

I did the Kaberle/Spacek trade after releasing the rosters but before Archi made the history editor so he is with Montreal

Keep up the great work guys. If there are any questions specifically about the Editor, I will answer these when I'm back next week.

Hopefully by the end of next week I will have the Bruins, Flames and Ducks complete (Jets are complete and imported - Bruins are 50%).

Before Easter
I might just wait out the trade deadline. I haven't really decided on how much new things I want for the next release

geest21-Updating the db is never finished. Always something to be done, and people always want it out yesterday. What has it been 3 weeks? Come on guys...we need to smarten up here. No one is paid to do this,....if you want something done yesterday do it yourself.

Geest...might I suggest you maybe find a way to come on the site and ask something more positively? Contribute yourself to the site and EHM? Maybe if you can't you could find a way to send a donation Manimal's way? This constant badgering of when is this going to be out, when is this going to be done....really freaking annoying. And it is not always new people.

We are darn lucky that Manimal is patient and a good guy. Or he would just tell you off and quit doing this Adam Oates.

So in conclusion...geest...get your head on straight...

And somehow someay ... all noobies here should get a freaking email or message that pops up in FULL SCREEN mode....to say "THE next release will be when the next release is. Want something sooner than that? THen contribute don't freaking keep asking.

that is true batdad , its been just a few weeks since the release of the manimal 4.0 rosters ( great job btw ) and the amount of work needed for the history update is HUGE .
For those taking on the update challenge i bow my head .. it has got to be respected that people who DONT GET PAID are doing a great job for the sake of others . Thank u in advance .

BTW . I followed all the instructions (including the hotfix) on how to install the history editor but it still wont let me change path to the CSV file i dont know what im doing wrong or is it just my retarded computer

Anyways , A HAPPY NEW YEAR FOR U ALL .

No I understand Batdad's frustration. People keep asking when is the next one going to be out. These aren't quick things to do. These take alot of time, and the people helping out with these usually have a full time job that is not this, and also have lives. This is done in peoples spare time and for free.

It does rub some people the wrong way when they constantly get asked when the next one will be out...espicaially in this case since 4.0 was JUST released.

I'm just catching up on things since returning from having no internet access. I want to get back to work on the Bruins/Ducks/Flames today and hope to have them all complete by Sunday at the very latest.

I've received a number of emails from users with their research (thank you to you all). I haven't checked them or imported them into the master database, but it looks like I have received the following:

• Vancouver Canucks
• Binghamton Senators
• Toronto Mariles
• The entire Swedish Elitserien (nice work Reave!!!)

I will test the above and import into the database asap either today or tomorrow. I will also update our progress list to show what is complete and what is still work in progress.

I've received a message from MacPhal saying he is unable to complete the LA Kings (I will add this to the list too). He has however completed about six or seven players and hopefully he will send these to me soon.

As Batdad has rightly said; it's ready when it's ready. Researching even just one team and importing it into the Editor takes several hours. Hence we need all the help we can get and we cannot give estimated release dates. A lot of users are kindly giving their time over the holidays to help out and, as I hope you can appreciate, none of us really have the right to badger them about when they'll have their work complete (hence everybody's frustration at these questions). We don't hide release dates from users and so as soon as we have some sort of news in this regard, we'll share it with everybody.

Heh do you think we should probably agree a deadline on this perhaps? I don't want to hamper/prevent you from working on your rosters. If I'm hindering your progress then let me know and we can agree some sort of cut-off date - i.e. I'll get as much done as possible and then anything that comes in at a later date I will somehow convert it for use with a later version of your rosters.

I'm afraid not. When you buy Office you either get the 32 or 64 bit version (not both). I found this out after I upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit and wanted to change from 32 bit Office to 64 bit Office (I couldn't change). You'll just have to reinstall your Office. You could either do it now and then follow my guide on how to use Excel instead of the Editor - or you could wait until you have finished using the Editor and then reinstall Office...

Okay so here is where we stand presently (below). The blue indicates that the history has been sent to me and I have imported into the Manimal Rosters. As you will see, we now have 1/6 of the NHL complete and the entirety of the Swedish Elitserien along with a few teams from Russia and the AHL/ECHL - and, of course, we have all of the competition histories complete.

If anybody wants to take on the LA Kings then please let me know so that I can let you know which players MacPhal had been able to research (I am awaiting this info from MacPhal).

Every so often, I get the following error when I try to open the editor.
When I click Modify Selected Staff History, I get the error "The expression On Click you entered as the event property setting produced the following error: The OpenForm action as cancelled"

The St. Louis Blues should be done by next tuesday. I've had a hard time finding +/- for playoffs and for some lower leagues, so for some players histories I set those at 0. Is that going to be a problem?
