You are not using the 2016 ruleset. Locate your import_config file and change it there.

It is a txt document. Just change the year in the text, save and then import the db again

Man, I might be stupid, but all I found is the import_config of the 9.1 file, and there is all 2016. Sorry for being that stupid, but the previous updates were working only this one is not.

Are both the Start Date and the Rule Set 2016?
I couldn't replicate your difficulty...I just imported the 9.1 database and started a new game with it without any problem

It's a hang-over from either the original EHM 2007 database or the 2007 Pre-Game Editor. Riz is aware and I think will fix it in an upcoming patch. I'm also trying to get the fix in my editor too.

Have you reported it via the Bugs Forum on the Official EHM/SI Games site? That's not a database issue. It's a bug with the game.

Not a crash, but I just downloaded the 9.1 rosters, and it looks like there were 2x AHL games played for the current season back on July 2nd? NOTE: Sept 4 start date

When I click on "Import database", I select TBL 9.1, when it starts to import the following error appears:
"Index Error"
Unable to find the DB_'File name '.... How do I solve this? Sorry for bad English

It sounds like you have not copied over all of the .dat files to your database folder. Assuming you downloaded the EHM 2007 database from the site, there will be a number of .dat files (which make up the database).

If you got the rosters from the Steam Workshop then you do not need to import - just start a new game.

Entering my 3rd season (2018-2019) using TBL 9.1, just noticed in the AHL Toronto and Bridgeport played a game in July...actually looking back there have been 1-2 games played on July 2 or 3 each year, including 2016 BEFORE I even simmed a day after starting up. Anyone else have anything like this? :dunno:

Yup, I think Manitoba and Charlotte do the same thing every year as well. It has definitely happened on both 9.1 and 9.2

Has anyone else noticed that the link to download the 9.4 rosters points to the 9.3 rosters?

And these are the error messages that I get when trying to import the 9.3 database...

Division in real schedule does not have the right number of teams: WHL/Western Hockey League East Division (UID: 11051)(0 found in DB, 6 expected in schedule)

Division in real schedule does not have the right number of teams: OHL/Ontario Hockey League Central Division (UID: 11056)(0 found in DB, 5 expected in schedule)

There were errors when trying to create playable leagues, the original database may be corrupt and could not be imported correctly.

Yep, got the same. The download link for 9.4 points to 9.3 because the 9.4 rosters are only available through the Steam Workshop.

When downloading the EHM database for 9.3, I get a number of missing DB errors and it crashes when trying to load a new game. Any suggestions?

Can you give an example of the error? Which EHM version are you using? Where did you install the rosters? What format of database did you downland (EHM 2007 or 1)?

I have EHM v.3.0.4, I downloaded and tried the 9.2 and 9.3 EHM 2007 databases from here, and the errors I'm getting are split between db index errors on a number of teams and leagues (DB_COMP_CZECH_JUNIOR_LEAGUE index to PLYMOUTH_WHALERS index problems) to a few errors that show up when selecting leagues (v3.0.4 fin_prm.cpp 1457 for example)

I've downloaded roster updates here before and had no issues but maybe I did something wrong I don't know

EHM v.3.0.4 is EHM07

The TBL databases are no longer compatible with both EHM07 and the new EHM (the last TBL database that was compatible with EHM07 was IIRC TBL 7.3)

If you want to use the newer databases (2015-16, 2016-17) you need to do so playing the new EHM (EHM1)

Oh I think I misunderstood then because the download page for those roster updates mentions EHM 2007, but looking at it further it's just the database version that probably imports to EHM 1, correct?

Thanks for the help

I just start new game as minnesota wild using 9.4 db..I found that alot of big NHL names is rookie such as tarasenko, palmieri, gaudreau, bartschi, galchenyuk dominating rookie in points..

I found also that NHL team history had alot of error which happen to players most career games, points, goals, assists..

Hope this can be corrected.
