RIght...so manimal I suggest the 21st (always been on Sunday in the past. I believe the time has always been 8 or 9AM my time. I would set for around there....and let everyone know by email, PM and note on site. Just so all have chance to be at the draft.

October 21st is fine with me...

I got two ESPN emails today about the 21st - both are timestamped 3:05 PM Alberta time, the first says the Draft will be October 21 2:00 PM EST, the second says the Draft will be October 21 12:00 PM EST - is it 12:00 PM EST?

It is 2:00 PM EST for now but that time can easily be changed if it is not suitable for most people

Dang, f-ed up my keepers to a minor degree. Well, I have to just face it. Looking forward to the draft, the lockout maes it way harder to predict players.

ANy objection to moving the draft either one or two hours later? Say 3 or 4 EST? I ask as I have a meeting to attend that just got booked for the 21st at 1PM EST. I can pretty much be back in time for a draft at 3 EST, but not likely to make 2.

Ugh, got to google that conversion. 3pm EST is 9pm Central European Time. It's OK for me, too. MHL drafts were always in this time if I'm not wrong.

Cannot thank you enough guys. With the new offer from the NHL today, this looks like it actually may mean something. 50-50? Who would have thought of that? Who is the genius?

Sure. I'll send out a League mail just in case any managers haven't been in here lately

Unless all managers are at the draft, I won't open up FA signings directly after.
The managers who won't make the draft(there is always someone) can't be screwed twice, IMO
Heck, I might not open it up until we know there will be a season

I'm planning on taking part! Though truthfully I'm not sure how much value I'm going to add! HaHa

I know I'd like to pick another starting goalie (and I know I have an early pick, and then a long wait until my next pick), and I know I'd like multi-position forwards if possible, but I simply don't know the players at the detail level to really know what I have/need...and given the Lockout my motivation is maybe lacking

I did spend a few minutes yesterday looking at ESPN's Pre-Draft Player Ratings (if it exists I couldn't find a Pre-Draft Player Ratings list with our League's keepers removed)

Meh not all that happy with how I did in the draft. Should have just let the game pick. I do alright when I do that. :-D

That was fun!
I now have a real good reason to hope the NHL gets back to playing!
