Anti Virus won't allow me to open this either. Has there been a fix, or will there be before the next version of the game?
I think the fix would need to be for the antivirus. It's a false positive. Go around it.

Running EHM 1.1, had previous version of EA Assistant. No longer works. So i read on here about the new EA Assistant.
Downloaded EA Assistant 1.1.0.25 on Win 7 Professional and after getting exception from Virus Scan, running it as Administrator, I get the following Exception:

To turn this feature off, remove the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog].

Anyone seen this? Fix? Help?

Sounds like your antivirus deleted a neccesary component for it to work. Did you try redownloading it with antivirus disabled? Or removing the quarantine.
The app probably hooks into ehm process or loads things from ram, which causes the antivirus alarms.

The new assistant is working perfectly fine for me on Win 8.1 64bit with old saved game I have been running since 2015. No problems from the start and not running as administrator, just made sure I deleted the old version first; don't just dump the new on top of the old.

Is this updated for 1.1.1 yet? (Sorry but I love this program so much)

Lol, my thoughts exactly. Last time a patch came out, I tried fooling EHM assistant to think the game was still the un-patched version.

Starting to get the shakes... Hoping that 1.1.1 comes out soon. I have been having endless fun with drafting ONLY 6-foot-8 / 220lb+ players and then using EHMAssistant to turn them into Blake Wheeler Gretzkys.
Then when they inevitably ask for a trade or try to reach free agency, they shortly thereafter will hear a voice booming from the heavens -- the Hockey Gods themselves bellowing "AS I GIVETH, SO TOO DO I TAKETH AWAY!" ... And then I'll make them "All 1's" and let them stew on it for a while while no team will hire them.
Eventually, if I'm feeling charitable, I *might* offer them a ripoff contract, the signing of which being the ONLY way to get their superpowers back.
Heh.
Heheh.
Muahehehe.
MUAHAHAHA AHAHA AHAHAHAAAAAAAAA@!@@@@@!!!!!!!!

Going to play in offline mode so the game doesn't keep getting updated when you don't want it too.

Thank you so much for the update - man, I am so grateful for your generosity.
You really spoil us, garfild!

We're back up and running within a mere handful of hours of the game update.

I agree with the praise and thanks! Much appreciated Garfild!
Your EHM Assistant allows me to do the testing I do (that I report to Riz and the TBL Researchers about) that helps make the game better!

If you want you can export the file, then use sort/highlight to separate out the 14 SHL teams and delete or hide the rest, and in just a couple/few minutes you'll be able to view the best players in the SHL

Just a quick note for Steam users who might be thinking along the same lines:
To adjust your "Automatic updates" setting for your EHM game:
* Right click on your Steam game title (in "Library") and go to Properties
* Choose the Updates tab
Here, you can find three different options for Automatic updates (must choose one):
* "Always keep this game up to date," <--- default

* "Only update this game when I launch it", and
* "High Priority - Always auto-update this game before others."
If one were inclined, one could choose "Only update this game when I launch it," and then one could be sure to go offline before playing to avoid the update upon game launch. Not ideal, but at least you have a chance to stay with the previous version, unlike the default option ("Always ... up to date").
Also, I wonder if there is a way in Windows to set the relevant files to be Read-Only to avoid having them overwritten? Or maybe just backing up the game folder is a way to go, too. If anyone has tested these options, I'd be appreciative to see the results.

Using the editor is it possible to change a retired player into a non-player? I'd like to make a player who recently retired into a Scout or Assistant Coach.

Thanks for creating this app!
I tried contacting you via PM, but I don't have enough participation on this site to enable that functionality.
I'm also a developer and avid EHM fan; I'd love to contribute to the app (I mostly focus on .NET/C# and database work); but would love to get involved with the development of the app at any level. (or if there is any source code you'd be willing to share that would related to the storing/writing of the data fields related to EHM). Anyways, if there's anything I could do to help you or any features you'd be interested in adding that you don't have time for, I'd love to help if I can. If not, I completely understand! But figured I'd throw out the offer.

This may sound stupid but I'm working on something and I'd love to be able to export the player's number or preferred number, which right now is not possible. Could this be added (as another column to show and export as CSV) in the next release?

Yes. Done.
