Hi! Thanks for your work!andda715 wrote:Hi,
Had a strange crash on my old db, so scrapped that one and re-imported a fresh 9.0b version using ehm 1.4.
Seems to work fine.
I have now verified that the original bug with too many teams is indeed fixed by Riz.![]()
In the db below I have preliminary versions of HockeyEttan (four divisions) and J20 SuperElit (two divisions) but it looks like stage1 never receives any playoff teams. Really weird. Something you guys have seen as well?
DB:

Save-game illustrating the issue (see e.g. SuperElit standings or HockeyEttan):

Only problem i have whit the EHM editor is when i have add players to the database and save, then the database won't start in the game and i can't load the database to the editor again. Do anybody know why?

Re: Editing league rules and structures in EHM 1
Having major issues of getting same settings I had in 1.3 work in 1.4.
Can't get "from top bye" to work anymore in 1.4. Pulling my hair, must be forgetting/changing something.
Here it is if you want to have a look:
https://www.sendspace.com/file/vjud93
After new years there should be both a top10 and a bottom10. Then in playoffs top16 teams (i.e. all from top and 6 from bottom).
Or perhaps easier only top 8 from top in playoffs for the championship.
Bottom 2 from bottom10 is relegated (or really complicated in real life...)
Currently only top10 is modelled as I have struggled and removed the later stages to see if I can spot the error.
I have tried many different combinations.

That screen means nothing. It simply shows that french league has a higher reputation... which is true imho

I think it's better to wait for the update database from TBL, and maybe will add polish league to the game

Re: Editing league rules and structures in EHM 1

Can someone tell me what settings i've missed in the editor for that?
I've set up the Play-off 1rst round as a BO3 and the rest (quar/demi/final) as BO7, why do they play 2 extra game in the 1rst round?
And for team switching right and left after the 1rst round, its to preserve a proper seeding?

Re: Editing league rules and structures in EHM 1
Hi again,
Here is a partially working Swedish J20 SuperElit added on top of EBL 9.1 rosters:
https://www.sendspace.com/file/00d8gh
Things that are broken/incorrect:
Stage Top10 - only 8 teams included instead of 10. Weird issue where I couldn't get it to select 5 top teams. Will investigate later.
Stage "Bottom10"/"Contd" - two separate stage of 6 teams each instead of one stage with 10 teams.
Relegation is quite complex in real life, have modelled a simplified version where bottom team in each "contd" stage is immediately relegated. This can probably be improved slightly (at least do play-off style etc.) but doing it 100% is probably impossible given that some teams can't be relegated etc (it is a real mess IRL).
North/South is not setup correctly, the teams are just sorted east -> west where eastern most teams go to the north divison.
Not sure what will happen with stage transitions when teams has been shuffled around etc. Needs further testing.
EDIT: Looks like playoffs also are broken no clue why... Added new version with another minor fix.
(ps the database also contains a playable Polish Elite League, 10 teams play 5 rounds regular season followed by 8 teams playoff championship. No promotion/relegation etc and just used whatever teams was already added in 9.1
).

Re: Editing league rules and structures in EHM 1
I finally got around to getting some time to play around with creating a new league. Just haven't had time to.
Just wanted to say, it isn't as daunting and complicated as it seems, so long as you have another league to base your settings/schedule off of.
I'm really excited about playing around with this, now that I've done it once. Very curious what crazy, fun stuff I can come up with.
