Yes. Kovalchuk now signed with Carolina in the summer of 2015. The combo of him and Eric Staal is not too shabby either.

Hah! That's a good one. I've had a couple go through my system that were funny... I had a defenseman named Inge Lund and a goalie named Guido Boss.

Georges "Vegan" Laraque defenses his teams star players by fighting, and he done it well everytime, so why not?

Did Laraque played in your team? Because style of play will effect.

No, he was on a CPU team. It was surprising because his stats really weren't very good.

Anybody ever have anything like this happen to them?
For some reason some of the the Blue Jackets losses were counted as wins, so Columbus moved to the finals dispite only winning 2 games in the conference finals

Aaron Marvin now shares the NHL record for points in a game. And yes, he ended up getting NHL Offensive Player of the Week with 7G 8A in 3 games.

WOW, 37 mins of playing time is so huge! He must have high strengh and stamina, I guess. Other players are only decoration in the roster

It would be weird if it is bug. Isn't the score shown like Canucks-Blue Jackets 2-4? The first two series are recorded in opposite way (Blue Jackets first). Maybe its because of the seed the team qualified in playoffs.

He's actually a Flames prospect already in the game at the start.

THat bug has happened lots in the past. There are threads way back somewhere here on it and at SI forums. It is an annoying scheduling bug in the playoffs where the playoff schedule for the 7 game series for some reason goes
home-road-home-road-home-road-home-road...instead of home-home-road-road-home-road-home. and the EHM engine counts the wins in the system from the ROAD or HOME team, not the ACTUAL team..
It is a bug I have not had a problem with since I put in patch 3.04 but I am not sure that is the reason it was there. It may be just I have been lucky. Because I have seen the schedule change for me from time to time in the playoffs. (IE two back to back games disappearing after I play the first one).
Anyway, what I suggest is when you see a playoff sched that does not start with two consecutive home (or road if you are the bottom ranked team) games...exit the game and go back to most recent save. I always save right after reg season and after every playoff round for that reason. I have seen it work where I get out of that home-road start in the playoffs by going back to the earlier save. Again this was WAYAYY before 3.04 though.

I've seen a variant of it only once. One year (early on) my team had to win six games to clinch a playoff series!
It was very frustrating at the time, but in the end we won the cup, and our playoff record showed 18 wins

Wow!
Thought this one was worth posting.
Note: They have both ONLY ever played for AI teams.
Season is 2020-2021. FInally the boys get together. The third guy is a regen of someone.
Ovenchicken has played 2 years in TB after playing his entire career in Washington til he was 35. He is now 37.
Crosby...played 11 years in Pitt, then 2 in Tampa...went to Washington the same off season Ovenchicken signed as an UFA in Tampa Bay (Basically they switched teams as UFAs)...then Sid returns to Tampa as an UFA this season 2020-2021 and finally he and Ovenchicken match up. Sid is currently 35
BTW--THey finished 5th in the East in 2020, and this season they have finished 2nd to Montreal. And 3rd overall behind Vancouver (my team), Montreal. I played them once and lost 3-2 in the shootout. Guess who scored both their goals?

Phoenix' starting goaltender. They don't even have a backup signed...

Wow.....the Yotes will have a really good season...

Is there maybe a UFA goalie they will able to sign? If it's really become their starter things will be ugly.

I doubt they will sign a starter, as they have actually been doing this for a few seasons now.

He has starten well

. Six games, one win, 26 conceded goals, goals average 7.54 and save% 74,00
Seriously, he is backup goalie even if he plays in Finnish Mestis-league.

Oh. Pretty sad situation for Coyotes if that Hakan will play whole season as starting goalie. But if they get first pick, they hopefully draft goalie!

Really hope so, but 18-20 year old goalies needs development before they can be starting goalies in NHL.

The AI are always dump and make their prospect play just after they draft him.....but what's make me sick is that the AI are always able to well develop their player even is they pass some step. But the 2-3 time i tried it, i mess-up my player.
