I've done some searchs but i found nothing.....i post a message in the wrong thread yesterday so i'm gonna ask it here....I download the update and install it correctly and i just go see what kind of update Lidas made and i was really surprise to see Tavares with 4.9 millions a year.....:-k Some rookie i've check have some big salary like this....Bogosian have 3.7, can't remember who were the other one. Tavares got is two way contracts it's 4.9 / 850 000.

I don't know if it's suppose to be normal or it's just a bug. Maybe i should try to re-install the update?

He's factoring in their bonuses into their contracts. Rookie contracts allow for bonuses that count against the cap.

Why is Tavares that high though? I thought rookie bonuses maxed out at 3.75 mil, that's what hockeybuzz has it at.

If you add the base salary to the bonuses it makes sense, at least I think so.

He has 3750000 in the DB, and Bogosian has 3375000. I have no idea where philou21 got his numbers from.

I was just wondering if anyone was having any trouble developing Nazem Kadri, the Maple Leafs first round pick of 2009?

Lower Dick Axelsson's determination and professionalism. He was having a bad season for Grand Rapids, so he abandoned the team and went home. He apparently pulled a stunt like this with Djurgarden in Sweden too, so it's not a one-off thing. The Wings have suspended him indefinitely.

Yes and No. Depends on the wingers you put him with. I put him with Kovalchuck and Frolov and he just got a bunch of apples and progressed really well. Another game I put him 3rd line with Armstrong and Boluton and he was a career 3rd liner

It'd be nice if Travis Moen wasn't 100% useless. He is actually a decent penalty killer, Faster then he looks, he hits hard and sticks up for his teammates. His attributes in the game are ECHL level.

Same goes for Rick Rypien. One of the toughest guys pound for pound yet in the game he plays terribly and gets moved around like a yo-yo. I know 4th line guys are hard to get balanced. They rarely score, don't get pp time, usually play a defensive checking role and rarely get a good rating.... Maybe it's the game thats not rating the hard working types as good as it should?

I think it ias some kind of game issue. Have you ever noticed how the AI sets up PK? It mostly puts the superstars first on on 5on5, PP AND PK and while leaving guys like Peca, cooke etc out.

Anybody got any kind of "success" with Gilbert Brulé?

3 years into the game, I use him as a 3rd C. I don't expect more than 10G-15A, but I'd also expect the +/- rating to be not THAT bad.

This season, he's beating mediocrity records...

23 games. 1 goal. 1 assist. -10. Avg. Rating : 5.74 (!!!!!!)
Revolving doors as linemates (mainly Richard Zednik and Raffi Torres on LW, mainly Scott Walker on the RW). They're obviously nowhere as bad as Brulé.

Using my own fixed version of 2.0 (which is basically 2.0 with the Folwer bug fixed) and maybe some tweaks here and there (thought Toskala was way too good in regards other goalies, amongst others).

He's good sometimes, very rarely. In older db's he was good 2nd line center.

P.s. About Toskala, that's your opinion, but he's lots better than stats can tell. It doesn't matter, who's Leafs goalie, they conceed many goals, but it's not goalies fault, it's more other players and Leafs tactics fault. It is easy to say that goalie sucks, cause of bad stats but Toskala and Gustavsson has been great.

But i know your point, Leafs win too much games and Toskala have save-% between 91-92 (in my games) and he win 30-40 games/season.

Hey guys.
I was playing with Philadelphia flyers yesterday with the new Lidas update 2.1. And I was just about to qualify for the Stanly cup, but then the game crashes.. could anybody help?

It's probably crashed because the Flyers getting even a sniff of the Stanley Cup goes against any semblance of reality.
