Nah, Philly should take this one.

I won $160 in my pool because I had Chicago and Philly! :joy:

I hope Philly wins. Make it a good game 7.

Awesome game tonight! Third period was really exciting! What a save from Niemi at 1min25. :-o It seems it would go to overtime and I really need to go to sleep. So I guess I would have the surprise tomorrow when I'll wake up. Please, please come on Hawks, the young guys are really nervous. [-o<

I'm in the same boat dude. I need some sleep. Going to Canada's Wonderland tomorrow! :joy:

Man Carter hit him right in the mask. How the heck did that not go in?? And Leino taking that puck into the zone was great. I never knew he could handle the puck THAT well.

People were calling the Hawks poor sports for not celebrating winning the Conference championships...

I say I'd rather have a Cup ring. :crown:

Congrats Toews and Kane and Keith and Seabrook. They are the core of that club and they are set up to win a few more Cups together.

Who says Philly goes after a goalie this off-season? :deadhorse:

Don't worry, I'm already on it:

I was out earlier tonight picking through some local dumpsters and recycling bins to see what I could find.

Nice little third period we had there, and a crazy OT goal. Congratulations to the Blackhawks, now we all know who has the longest Cup drought in the league :dunno: ](*,)

Stinson, would you prefer Halak or Price? :-D

Well, Hossa finally did it...

I cheered for Toews, Kane, Sharp, Ladd and Seabrook. So I'm glad they won it.

Isn't Chicago second biggest US city? Then it should be good winner for NHL.

Also, a lot of czech origins live in Chicago, but no player there :-(

Congrats to the Blackhawks! I'm really happy for their true fans that suffered through all of the bad years. Things have finally turned around for them and now they've got a Cup.

Being from Buffalo, and a Sabres fan. It's good to see a local hometown guy put the nail in the coffin for the Flyers and win the Stanley Cup in Overtime, what a storybook finish. Also somewhat pleased that the Philly fans got to watch the cup paraded on their home ice. Duncan Keith missing teeth, reminds me of those stupid video clips of Bobby Clarke missing teeth when the Flyers won the cup in Buffalo in 1975. All the more fitting that a Buffalo guy put Philly away for good! Now that's probably as close as we're going to get to an actual cup win here, sadly!.

Hats off to the Hawks.

Congrats to the Hawks! :joy: =D> Finally I woke up when I've heard my mother say a big"YESSSS" in the house and watch them take the cup, I'm always amazed by that. I'm happy for Toews, Seabrook my two favorites players in this team.

Even if I don't like Hossa for what he've done to the Pens and the Wings, he was looking so happy at the end that I just can't hate him that much, congrats too him though.

I dunno if I'm the only one thinking that but when Kane scored he was so funny to look! :-D He was skating like a lion was purchase him and go right in the arms of Niemi. He kinda remind me of Fleury when he score with the Flames.

On a somewhat unrelated note... I often wonder what's going through Gary Bettman's head when he walks out to present something?

......and everybody is booing him. :-D He needs to make his job but it's impossible to me he don't think like "People really hates me....". If don't think that, he's more idiot then I thought.

Well, how many true Blackhawks fans are out there? I remember just a few years ago there were half a dozen people watching them in their own arena. And all they did was boing Aucoin.

From what I've read, the team's ownership didn't really make it too easy to be a fan. They charged a whole lot to go to the games and they made it so that you couldn't watch them on TV. I consider myself a big Boston Bruins fan but I'm lucky if I make it to one game per season. It just cost too much to go to a game (tix, parking, food, drink, and all of that). I watch them at home on TV.

Whoa there bandwagon boy. The Hawks have been one of my favorite teams since I was a little kid like you. So no way I was calling them down. Not a chance. I probably said something along the lines of "If they don't get it done this season, they ain't gonna get it done" And along the lines of Tallon is a moron with those qualifying offers. And that Hossa was a great signing over Havlat. Oh and that their goaltending might be a problem...unless Niemi or Crawford turn out to be super rookies. Turns out Niemi only had to be a half super rookie.

Also probably mentioned that Keith is one of my fave d-men of all time. And that I hate Patrick Kane and his cocky idiocy. And that unless Buffy shows up in the playoffs this year like he did last...Hawks won't win.

All true, but never once did I say they had no hope. So really...

Now when it came to the last two weeks it just so happens that the Flyers are my childhood #1 team. Above the Hawks, and waaaaaay above the Canucks. So...I reverted a bit, and am sad for the Flyers.

However..they put up one heck of a battle especially when it comes out that Carter had TWO broken feet, not just one. And Ladd with a fractured shoulder is aweseome too.

Now...I really hope the Hawks can keep it together, but they gotta lose Pooet and Sopel.

Easy answer to that one Stinson. Where do I want my next winter vacation? I need a new spot...Hmmmm..Winterpeg, Quebec, Halifax...no I know Mexico, so I am going to convince these idiots that Mazahtlan is a perfect place. I mean canadians and Americans flock there all the time. So they will have fans...its a huge international market, and they have no other team in the pro ranks. Yeah. Perfect. 1 zillion pesos.

No my mom is not a "hot" hockey mom, I think so....She like's hockey, more when it's the Habs. But she don't really know the sports well, she just can named some players of the Habs and her old hero Mark Streit. She scream everytime I just can't watch hockey with her. A shot missed 5 feets of the net and she's like " OMG they almost score!!!!". Ehhh, yeah mom yeah.
